Good epsom for my sitz baths but $22 for a bag is expensive. Not sure if I would buy it again since you can find much cheaper at Walmart. 3-stars because the smell is the only thing that’s worth the cost or I would have returned it. Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. After using these salts consistently for a while now I realize you don’t need much. I use a tablespoon in my sitz bath. I will reorder this. The salts don’t dry out my sensitive areas and I’m addicted to the smell too.

My butt crack was on fire and was desperate for relief even after using all the creams and max dosing of pain meds to relieve the hemorrhoids. I bought this in a middle of the night desperate whim along with one of those toilet sitz baths you've probably also searched up too if you don't have a useable tub. First thought: this is the most expensive salt I've ever bought (this is my first time ever even learning what epsom salt/magnesium is.) Let me tell you though, those two purchases along with witch hazel were the best things in pain relief. I put 3 teaspoons in about 40 fl ounces of warm-borderline hot water for 15 minutes, which does the trick in feeling amazing. I have no idea if that's too much salt, but it seemed like a good amount to me. The first time I used this, my butt was in heaven. Instant relief. And I was calm too! Now I know why people use this in their bath tubs. Also this smells AMAZING. I read that you have to wash it off so it doesn't dry your skin, but if I could; I would never wash this stuff after the bath. If anything, you'll be relaxed from the aromatherapy filling your bathroom. I don't even flush the toilet after the sitz bath until I next have to use it, just so the smell of this used water fills the bathroom. Now the downside is the price. I still think this is expensive as hell! I think this would last roughly a month if you used it in the amount I do every day. Then again, can you really put a price on pain relief? My hemorrhoids cleared up in about 3 weeks using this every other day. After I would do a sitz bath, I would sleep better as well. I also bought this cheap Amazon brand version that's 1/4th the price but checking the ingredients list; that version is missing all the essential oil bells and whistles. Maybe I'll use that when this runs out instead, but I'm glad I tried the premium stuff to compare it to. I would probably buy this again if the butt pains come again.
