There is so much to like about these wooden train accessories. They are incredibly well made and nicely painted. Great attention to detail is evident in each of the variety of pieces, which our two year old can easily handle.We added the set to wooden train tracks and Thomas trains, and our little one is set for an afternoon of fun. The vehicles in the set fit perfectly on the tracks and can be driven manually, or pushed along by the trains.The set comes in a good quality plastic storage container with a snap-lock top. Each piece is enclosed in a small re-sealable zipper storage bag. There is enough extra room in the container to add the trains to keep everything together. Great purchase!

Quality is very good. Will last for years. Fun to play with train and building the track is relaxing for me and the boys.

This set is amazing! I got it for my train crazy grandson for Christmas. The pieces are painted on each side, and cleverly too. You can mix up the roofs and other building details to increase creativity. The variety of pieces was great too! I highly recommend it!

Set was as I expected. Perfect size for Brio trains. Fun addition to what we have already collected. I appreciate the storage box for the pieces. Makes clean up easy for the children and me.

These come in a bin with a label reading “train set with accessories,” but there are no trains or train tracks included at all. I should have paid closer attention, but the product looked like a train set with accessories to me, and I just want to make it clear that this just a set of accessories for an existing train set you presumably already have. I like that all the pieces are solid wood, no particleboard or anything, and that the buildings and cars are painted all the way around - both features I would have appreciated in a similar set by Melissa and Doug. As someone else said, there are lots of plastic bags housing the components upon arrival, which feels wasteful, and they still somehow arrived dusty feeling. Some of the paint isn’t very well done, too. The people are only printed on one side, and they are an odd mix of what seems like random clip art designs - not at all cohesive, and not a diverse group by any means. They are definitely the weakest link in this et for me! Some of other design choices are a little perplexing, too, like the stop sign, but I don’t think kids will mind that too much. The scale of the houses to trees to cars to people is sort of all over the place, but as long as the cars fit on the wooden train tracks it didn’t come with, that shouldn’t be too much on an issue. It’s a ton of accessories for the price, and kind of fun that the kids can mix and match building components. I wouldn’t buy it for someone as a gift, but it’ll be a nice addition to my kid’s small world play and I feel like it’ll hold up pretty well.
