Not cheaply made…confident in description and great service.

It's tough to find a flush mount. This offers a factory look by fitting into existing trim. Yes, you need to drill a 1-1/8th inch hole and need enough backing room.I don't like the other products dangling sockets, Or add on panels.I must admit, I would have liked a 4 meter cable instead of 3. This worked perfectly for where I put the socket in my van, but I really should have put it about 2+ feet farther back, and a full loop vs just a sag in the line between the battery and fire wall.Supposedly I have an unused 40 amp power line running to the back, but could not find schematics before I got this (and I'm missing my tone generator for line tracing.)perhaps I'll buy another for the way back when I find that 40 amp power line.Standard north American 12 volt auto power socket. And the eye ends fit the default ground and positive poles. (default = medium? I think the starter is bigger?)P. S. That 15 and 20 amp description is a little confusing. It should say the 15amp is installed for safety, but the setup is capable of 20 amp service, and comes with two 20 fuses in the packaging if you want to utilize the full capacity.

I am using this to test my 12V 4 cell arrays before I combine them to bigger arrays for 24V or 48V systems. This works great to do the first load test with a little pure sign wave 12V inverter 300W that draws about 20-23A on a 12V battery. There are multiple fuses included and I had an extra 25a fuse I am using for it at this point. This is one of the highest rated connectors of this kind i could find and it allows me to test all my car adaptor appliances I am testing also. I might switch to an additional 60A connector before this one that is directly attached to the inverter so I do not have to put too many amps through this connector which is obviously not ideal for high amp loads. In any case if you have a fridge or freezer that plugs into your car this would be the best option to not overload the connectors in your car that are most likely not rated for high amp. I have a Viair air compressor for my RZR side by side for tire trail repairs. Using this air compressor with the factory 12 volt outlet with a 10 amp fuse kept blowing fuses after a minute or two. I installed this 12 volt outlet with its 20 amp fuse rating solved that problem! Allowed me to easily install this outlet near the driver door to access easily. The wiring is of great quality too! Very happy with results!
