Upon receiving the product, I was impressed with the quality of the patches. Made with soft bamboo material, they are gentle on the skin and provide a comfortable fit for extended wear. The adhesive is strong enough to keep the patch in place, but also easy to remove without causing discomfort.One of the standout features of the Ortopad® Bamboo Girls Eye Patches is the fun and colorful designs. These patches were great and fun colors so it helps my little girl be willing to keep them on when she gets to pick and what I like most is they pull off super easy.

Let's face it, it's not like we are using these for pleasure. Our 2 yr old uses them because she has to (per ophthalmologists orders). The up side is that I can easily order more on Amazon, they come in cute colors/designs, and they stay put. The only down side is they pull when being removed and probably hurt a little (she flinches a bit), but she's gotten used to it and it doesn't bother her as much anymore. And I realize the adhesive is sort of a necessary part of the patch - otherwise they would come off all the time! So I can't really take stars off for that. Bottom line, if your kid needs to patch an eye, these are a great option.

My four-year-old daughter has to wear these for 90 minutes on one eye every day. I wanted to have something cute that would help her be apart of choosing which patch to wear. There are 5 different designs to pick from which she likes. They do stick really good but only the first time you put it on, if she pulls it off before time it is most definitely not as sticky and doesn't stay on as well. She pulls it off herself she will sometimes say ow but nothing too bad like I thought it would be like. She cries when I take a band-aid off her legs so for pain while removing we think these are great.

After reading other reviews, I have to agree that these patches truly do stick. The first time I put it on my daughter, I put it on her straight outta the package and that was a mistake. It stuck so tightly around her eye that she screamed and cried when I peeled it off. She had red marks on her face for hours. After reading more reviews, I’ve used the arm method, meaning that right outta the package, I put the patch on my arm, peal it off, put it back on my arm again and then peel it off. Then at that point, it’s not as sticky and I’m able to put it on my daughter’s eye. Sometimes that causes a corner to lift but luckily she has to wear glasses in addition to the patch, so the glasses stop it from completely lifting and from her messing with it. Once I figured the arm stickiness trick, I became super happy with these and have already bought multiple packs as she goes through at least 1 a day.
