I saw a video Rhett and Link video of them going over the sourest candies and they put these on top and other sites ranked this as the sourest so I figured I would try them because I love warheads and if they are more sour than warheads then awesome. Unfortunately they are not more sour. They are close to warheads but in terms of sour they just dont cut it. Warheads in my opinion are still the sourest. Some of the flavors arent even sour. Black Cherry is one of the sourest for warheads so I tried it and it was not sour at all. Maybe its due to the fact the candies appear melted and stick to the wrapper but even warheads do that now which sucks because I liked them when they didnt stick like in the old days so maybe that removes some of the sour material. I did like how they come in a cool little waste barrel so presentation is a lot better than warheads but other than that its just a less sour warhead.

I am a sour candy freak. Candies came slightly melted, maybe just from my local climate and weather at the time I bought this, but flavor stays the same. Shipped in 2 days with prime, no damage, and good seal on the container. Each little drum has about 15 pieces of candies in it so about 45 pieces when ordering this 3 pack. If you like your sour candies, as well, easiest way to describe them flavor-wise is comparing them to Warheads. They are slightly more sour that Warheads. After the sour, unlike Warheads that turn into sweet hard candy, these keep a certain twang. Especially if you are like me and end up finishing the candy by chewing it at the end. I don't know if that was because they were slightly melted or not but they seem to have a sour twang on through out the candy, where as if you bite into a warhead after the sour, it is just sweet and fruity. Personally, as sour candy goes, top of the list of sour and I would choose these over Warheads. 5/5 - Great sour taste, and lasting twang as far as sour candies go. Would buy again.

I am not sure why but the batch that I received aren't very sour at all. The taste is good but I'd hardly call the sour. Received January 2025, expiration is listed as July 2025. This is the first time trying these and I was seeking a really sour candy but this didn't fit the bill for me. Again, bad batch maybe?

These are so SO good. Been tired of warheads and this is REALLY good. At first I thought they were made from real fruit because of how vibrant and powerful they tasted, but there’s actually a lot of artificiality. So wonderful regardless. It comes in a box with 3 drums. Each drum is packed with pieces of candy that popped right out of the drum when they were opened. There are 5 flavors in each drum, some more evenly varied than others. Mystery flavors are packaging variation of the labeled ones, I think. Placebo effect. All around really good candy that is so potently sour and sweet that I eat too many of every day, hope to try other stuff from this company.

If half a star was a choice I’d give it half a star. This is not sour at all. It’s a little sour for a moment and that’s it: I was very disappointed! :(
