The quality of the fabric is nice, however I wish the delivery would have been free for this item, as the delivery charge was nearly the same price as the item. fabric was not cut straight, it was wobbly cut. Further I wish the fabric had a better finish on the edges, no clean cut and no fold stitching, to avoid the fabric will lose lines and become smaller. Plus the package - inside was teared open, hence I wonder if the item was cut smaller, by who ever checked the item.

You can find less expensive cheese cloth, especially in the clearance bins at discount outlets, but you will not find this quality. Grade 90 is a much finer mesh than the other cheap versions. It is also unbleached cotton fabric. This is great for a variety of cooking purposes. Once you use the good stuff, you understand the quality is worth the extra you spend, and it is still a great value.

I specifically purchased this item to strain my cauliflower when cooking. I'm trying to follow a low carb diet and I use fresh and frozen cauliflower for my dishes. Since cauliflower has so much water I purchased this cheesecloth to strain the water and it works great! I basically cut pieces as needed and reuse the pieces. After I strain, I rinse the cloth in warm water and drape it over a glass to dry. I have reused the same piece 4 times and still no tears or holes in the cheesecloth. I would recommend this item as it is of great quality.

I was initially worried about how tightly woven the mesh was, and that liquid wouldn't pass through. Boy, was I wrong...this cheesecloth is strong, yet effective. I use it when making ghee, and normally there would be a little bit of milk solids that pass through which would fall to the bottom of the jar. Not with this product. I was left with pure liquid gold, and no (visible) trace of dairy in the final product. I will definitely use this product from now on.

Purchased to try the 'soak the cheese cloth in melted butter and place on top the turkey breast' roast. I haven't done it yet, but will. In the mean time, this is a very nice roll of cheese cloth. Lots of uses - roasting, straining, etc. I'm happy with the purchase. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
