First time to own a Dr. Martens and I’m lovin the feel of it. True to size and very comfy!

Awesome Boot!!

Homosexual stereotypes aside, I am shocked at how many compliments I’ve received on these boots. It’s starting to get cold out - and my old Chukka boots were falling apart. These were really an impulse purchase to stave off the cold weather. For that, they’re working quite well. My feet stay warm, they’re more comfortable than my old Chukkas, and are fairly simple to keep clean. I’ve never been complimented on my footwear before. In the two weeks I’ve been wearing these, I’ve had four separate compliments on them - including that gem of an endorsement in the headline. Here’s a quick summary of the others: “Nice Docs, man. I’ve moved over to them for all my wear needs. Are they comfortable?” “I really like those boots.” “I think I need to get new boots, those look great” I thought all of this was pretty odd. I’ve never noticed or felt compelled to comment on another’s footwear. Somehow, in the span of two weeks, I’ve gotten what I think are a lifetime of comments and observations from four gentlemen who have an eye for quality footwear.
