This thing is AWESOME!! No sharp edges, and it's not super heavy, but it's not flimsy either. It seems to be pretty well-made, and it doesn't catch or anything when in use. It folds up easily as well. It's pretty accurate, comparing it to an actual butterfly knife, though the real thing is a bit heavier. But that's because a good blade will weigh more, so that makes sense, and is reasonable to consider. Excellent training tool for learning how to safely maneuver a real one. It noticeably helps improve hand/eye coordination and dexterity in general. I've seen a huge improvement in about 2 weeks in my son. Everyone in the household uses it. It's definitely a fun little guy.

I bought this product in hopes of learning how to flip a butterfly and gain a new hobby. Initially this was a good product in the beginning learning basic tricks, after a while though, the knife tends to stiffen and may need some lubricant to loosen up the bearings (if it even comes with bearings?) Overall it is kind of heavy for a beginner ( I am not an expert btw) just simply stating that it may be too heavy for the others. Nonetheless I pushed through in hopes of learning as much as I could, as my thought process was, "If I can flip this, then I should have no issues flipping a lighter knife later". I cant say I recommend this to everyone as it is somewhat heavy and very handle bias meaning the handles weigh more then the blade part, so it could through your balance off if your used to throwing/flipping other more neutral friendly knives. But if you don't care much about things like that then, this is a good choice to start learning basic fundamental flips. I am sure there are better options out there but for the price not a bad product.

This trainer is fantastic. It is made with an internal pin construction, which means no risk of loosening screws like lower-end butterfly knives and trainers. The weighting is great, it feels well balanced and spins perfectly. The hinges might be a little sticky when you get it, but throw a little bit of oil in there and after a few flips it's a dream come true. Love the fact that the clasp is on a spring, so it pops right open and doesn't smack into your hand or get in the way while flipping. It is also definitely stainless steel, as the product claims. The weight and durability attest to that. The free wallet card tool thing is fantastic as well, I didn't even know it came with the trainer and I was very pleasantly surprised. If you need a durable trainer to practice flipping with, this is the one to get!

It’s good if it’s your first Balisong because it’s not pricy and you get a good feel of it. Flimsy and bad assembly quality. Lock mechanism is hard to undo and value for money is good because only $10 and I had points so I got it for 0.93 cents. Color is good. Opening the package was easy.

After hearing some pro butterfly knife flippers' low opinion of buying any practice balisong, let alone one off amazon, let alone one under $200, I seriously questioned why I even ordered one here at all. Many pros will tell you anything under $200 "won't last", "isn't good to practice with", "is useless for flipping", etc., etc. And I'm not a pro and the blade just came in the mail so I haven't put it through the ringer, but....just from my first impression, this is just as good of a practice flipper as any. The REAL bonus is the company comtacted me right after I placed my order and told me that if I need parts, repair, etc., they'll cover it. And when it comes to balisongs, that is almost more important than the actual quality of the knife. It also has brass washers, not plastic or other material, so that's a plus. And of course, it's nice looking, haha! It looks like a great starter if you want to get into flipping!

Ok so when i first got this thing in 2020 i thought it would last for a few months max I did not do much maintenance on this thing and apart from a sliding zen pin, THE QUALITY HAS NOT DECREASED and it's still flipping well into 2022. it's amazing for the cost and a great trainer to start off with

El material es bastante bueno, se ve muy resistente a caídas y demás. Viene con una funda para guardarlo. Si apenas se empieza a practicar como yo creo que, dejando de lado los golpes en los nudillos y demás, es buena opción.
