This is a great fan for the money
This is a great fan for the money. Quality construction, packaged well, moves a ton of air. I purchased two of these for my shop and am going to buy 7 more I'm so impressed! Noticeable difference in shop temperature, should have bought them years ago!

9/10 fan.
I'm a hobbyist blacksmith in the midwest with an all metal 700sqft shop. Air conditioning is not really an option to overcome the heat this trade produces, at least affordably, but air movement is vital and a welcome relief in the summer months of 100+. This fan is extremely well made and is a heavy sucker. It oscillates like it means business (almost too quickly for me) and after a few weeks of constant usage, doesn't rattle or seem to be gumming up despite a consistent amount of crud in the air. Air output is better than I thought it would be. My only real gripe with this product is the fan tensioner, the screw and knob that controls the angle the fan stays at while oscillating. It installed easily enough, but did not provide enough torque to counteract the heavy motor and fan 100% and would start drooping. I wasn't planning on adjusting it frequently, so added a locking nut and problem solved. I would suggest the manufacturer add this .05 cent item as an option in the box. And also, add a couple additional bands for shipping as the weight of the motor almost ripped open my box by the time it got to me.I also added a remotely controlled outlet plug so I could leave the fan plugged in and control it without having to get on a ladder (you can get one that comes with a standalone remote, or one that you can control via your phone). Highly recommend this as there's no on/off switch. Pull chain is pretty short, but I believe it did come with a string to lengthen it. I leave mine on max output 100% of the time so don't ever mess with it, which is good because I'm likely to break them.

At high speed the fan sounds like an airboat
It is definitely a quality piece of machinery, VERY well built, no skimping on the steel. Personally, I was expecting a hurricane from this thing and got more of a tropical storm. At high speed the fan sounds like an airboat, so, it is a bit noisy (some of that noise is simply because the fan is mounted on a wall where the motor and engine sound reflect back before being being absorbed by surroundings). This fan is not quiet and I suppose for a 30" fan pushing allot of air, you would not expect it to be either.BUT.... We have the fan installed in a 10'x20' patio. It is overkill, but we need overkill to chase away bugs and humidity. So the noise levels maybe simply a bit much since we installed in a small area. Not the fans fault I believe. The fan is probably maybe 1.5-2 times louder then box fan on high.Regarding installation instructions. The instructions are weak and only showing side shots of the fan. This is important because if you DO NOT insert all of the screws in the proper direction, the fan will not hold its angle and begin to flop. You cannot tell if the head of the 1/2" neck screw should enter from one direction or the other - you can do it either way, but the head needs to enter the fan neck nut cavity (get this backwards and it will not stay tight). Also, the angle support screw, needs to enter from the fan neck and not from the flag (get this backwards and you will lose angle as well). It would be nice in the directions showed this installation from a top view and not a side view, it would have saved some time. This way you could see the fan kneck needs to be infront of the flag, and the directions the screws need to enter to support the fan in a way that actually works properly.

works great
bought for husband's birthday for use in garage. Had it installed very quickly, moves a lot of air, and we only keep it on low speed!

Great Fan, Deplorable Packaging by the Manufacturer.
This is my third Air King Fan. My first was a 24" that I returned because I wanted a fan that would move more air. Once I got the 9075 mounted, I noticed a significant vibration only in medium speed. When I shut the fan off, the same blade would always stop at the bottom. Often, it would even rotate backwards after stopping to return to the bottom - yes, I marked it with a paint spot. Called Air King. They were awesome. Two days later I had a new blade. Once installed, the fan had a much worse vibration - in high speed. Called Air King again... for an entire day. They did not answer or return my call. Arranged for an Amazon. Amazon is SO excellent in this regard. Received the new fan yesterday. Opened the box to find the tip of the blade jammed into the guard and damaged. So bummed out now. Seems to be a quality fan, but I have to return it. Have ordered another brand of 30" fan that touts a "balanced" fan blade. Hopefully that manufacturer cares enough to invest in quality packaging. FYI, the 24" was problem free. I'm thinking that maybe I should have kept it...

Best Value for Warehouse or Garage!!
I have purchased 7 of these fans for our retail stores. This is the best quality, the most power, and the best price after prime shipping! No regrets!

Works pretty good.
Mounted 2 of these in our 5k sq ft production facility. They seem to work pretty good. They don't push a dramatic amount of air but they definitely help.
