While these are certainly better than crimping or soldering connections, they're not as good as they could be. I've used similar items from another brand (also purchased from Amazon) that were better. For example, the rubber grommets that go around the cable where it exits the connector shell and the strain relief clamp inside interfere with each other. You can't fit the grommet in properly if the clamp is secure. All in all, it works for its intended purpose but it isn't as well thought out a package as its competitor.
