Good stuff right here
Good stuff right here. Fits my Gibraltar rack perfectly. Very well made, solid, and sturdy. Excellent product that looks even better in person than online. What I like: Looks very nice (something to consider) Works GREAT VERY solid and "beefy" Overall quality is GREAT Has plastic/rubber grommet on inside to protect your cymbal arm and helps grip it more tightly Great stuff, I highly recommend. do the math and get the best deal - although all offers are pretty darn good at the prices above (10-3-14 being $15.50 + tax, $16.15, and... good prices, cheap! not quality wise)

This thing is a beast.
I originally just needed a device to hold my Alesis Sample Pad Pro attached to my 1978 Ludwig Modular Outfit Quadra Plus retrofit drum kit. I replaced all my tripods with a Gibraltar Rack System to save room and hold up the heavy Maple Toms. I added the Alesis unit to trigger out extra sounds for when I need them on cover tune gigs. BUT the accessory clamps ( by different brands) kept slipping out of them (on the gig; ) so the unit was starting to become a problem. ..and naturally that was a deal breaker so I started shopping for a replacement holder to secure it in place. THUS, I added this snare basket to the top of an adjustable grabber clamp and it held MAGNIFICENTLY to the rack cage! And it's heavy duty. I'm am now buying the snare drum stand that this basket actually goes with so I can replace my old snare stand. I've never seen a snare stand this heavy duty. It appears ready for heavy touring right out the box.

Great quality. Very durable.
So far its worked well for the snares that i have. However i have a 7” deep snare on order and worry that it will sit too high as its already at its lowest. I have ordered another to modify, but it would have been nice to just have one that did it all.

All clamps are NOT created equal!
OK, at first glance this item may look like just another tube cymbal arm clamp. DW, Tama, and a host of others put this on top of the tubes of their racks to allow you to mount a cymbal boom arm to the top of the rack uprights, space which is otherwise not utilized. This clamp is no exception. Pop out the plastic cap on your rack tube, loosen the drum key set screws on the clamp, slide it onto the tube and tighten the set screws. Then top it off with your favorite boom arm. Easy peasy. But this clamp has a couple tricks in the form of the sleeves (okay, bad pun). Remove the 3/4" nylon insert (you'll have to completely remove the wing nut and hex nut from the clamp) and swap it our for one of the larger inserts (7/8" or 1") and this clamp will now accommodate a variety of tom arms, the top sections of snare stands, and other mounts that previously were only usable on the standard horizontal rack clamps. I found it especially handy to mount the top of a double-tom stand in the center of a double bass set-up, on top of the one rack leg I have centered between the two kicks. The possibilities are really endless. For about the same price as the other company's one-trick ponies, you can have a much more usable and versatile clamp. Nice job Gibraltar!

I was looking for these
I always wondered how drummers were mounting cymbals through the vertical tubes of their racks. This is how! These saved me in a pinch. Trying to get my kit together and was getting antsy and having to reconfigure due to comfort and space available. I had just a few cymbals left to mount on my rack and this was my solution. I bought a few and they worked flawlessly and look cool as well.

Quality, heavy
This is a quality piece, a bit heavy. The clamp did NOT hold my 9/16" yamaha dtx cymbal arm as stated down to 1/2" in description. I used the smallest insert and still too big to clamp properly. Luckily I have a sizing bushing from the yamaha e drum clamp. It worked then. I also think that a design that uses a clamshell type clamp to fasten it to the rack would be better than the 2 set bolts that dig into and mar the rack tube.

Perfect fit for the stealth rack and a lower snare position! Amazing!
I own one previously and this one had a longer pipe but measured and cut, it is perfect.
