I didn't order these with any particular activity or need in mind, but I like to be prepared and figured these are a low-cost option that could give me some peace of mind while traveling, alone in the house, out and about, etc. They're a little thicker than PaperMate Ink Joy pens, which are the fattest pens I own. Maybe on par with a Sharpie or something? Not as big as a Crayola Washable Marker, though. Anyway. The directions said to be careful not to drop them directly on the bulb because it would shatter, which is something I'd never thought of. It came with enough batteries for all 3 pen lights. The colors are vibrant and really pretty (I got the blue, pink, and purple pack). The light is pretty bright for how tiny the bulb is.

Got these four SFSTs and they work perfectly! Easy to store, high powered light! Batteries they come with suck, but after getting Duracell batteries, they are perfect.

These are very good quality, light is bright and doesn't flicker. Batteries are long lasting, this is my second set, I wanted more because I was sharing with fellow nurses. Pretty colors. Great value.

Love the pen lights. I really like that they use AAA batteries and not the little round ones. The light is bright. Well worth the money. Great gift. I keep one in the med cart.
