WOW- perfect for large cats!
I am so impressed with this perch! I have bought several kinds and styles over the years and with different cats and I have to say this is one of the best!! Very sturdy, super easy to put together - if you follow the instructions which are super simple. Took just about 20 minutes to completely assemble by myself. lots of flexibility in this perch too. We didn't want a really tall one, we are torn between needing it tall enough for them to lay and look out the window but not tall enough for the cats to chew up our blinds! So, I chose not to put on the 2nd "bed" that was taller. I am saving those parts so that we can change the beds out if/when it gets too worn. The material is super soft and nicer than the usual carpet style we have had. My cats immediately took it over investigating and playing. I know it will be their favorite place soon. I love all the options they have to lounge on it - inside and on top of the "house" box, on the bed, on the ledges, they have not yet tried the hammock. I am super thrilled! I have had Maine Coon cats in the past and the boy and girl we have now are not quite that big, but they are still bigger cats. Our boy is very tall. They can both lay everywhere including the bed without looking like they are cramped or about to pop out :-) We have a smaller perch that they have already outgrown. This one is perfect for the larger cats and even the "house" box was big enough for them both to get into! One in it had plenty of extra room to not look scrunched. I was hesitant but now so thrilled to have chosen this perch!

I can't stop looking at it! It's so plush and beautiful!
So far so good. In all fairness, we JUST put the tree up TODAY! So, this review may be a little premature. But, I'll take ANY opportunity to post pictures of my gorgeous cats who seem curiously interested at this point. We're taking bets over here on which one will be the first to use the HAMMOCK. That was one of the reasons I bought this one. And the color is just perfect for our environment; i.e. grey couch, grey area rug, you get the picture. Our last cat tree was pretty much ripped to shreds within a year and a half. And hey, with three healthy cats, I fully anticipate this will be no different. But, what IS different is this cat tree, while costing less than what I believe my sister paid for the one we just put out to pasture, is so much more plush and cushy. It was MADE for adult cats, no question. The last one I am pretty sure was more fit for kittens. There is PLENTY of room for all three to hang out ... Those top two elements are nice spacious cat beds. There's PLENTY of lounging room in the condo area. And I am dying to see one of the cats get in that hammock! WHO will be first? Comment below. Will it be Sebastian? Our Grey and White. Emerald? Our Grey one. Or Velvet? Our Black one. In a dream world, I wish SongMics would make another, more "Castley" one. I bought this because it's big and wide and plush, looks comfy and I LOVE the color! But, my dream castle would have THREE condo areas ... like the one it already has. It would go ONE more level higher. And it would also include TWO sets of stairs. Our old one had those. And maybe some more cat baskets on the sides ... If SongMics is listening ... maybe you'll make a model like this for 2018 when we'll be ready for a new "house" ... till then ... this one is nearly PURRFECT! P.S. My hubby had this built in no time at all. What, maybe 30 or so mins. It's super easy. He said it was much easier than the last one. Very high quality for the money.

Easy to put together, very stable
It's a cat tree. What more does one need to know? I suppose folks would like to know if it is stable . . . and the answer is yes. Our obese Maine coon/Manx mix cat Harry S Truman, who is the most uncoordinated cat ever created (seriously this cat mix would never have made it in the wild) is able to get on to the cat tree and it moves not one iota. If this was on a rug, instead of a hardwood floor perhaps one might need to use the accompanying wall strap. Is it easy to assemble? Most definitely. Great instructions which made a lot of sense. What do the cats think of it? We have eight . . . not all of them enjoy lazing about on the cat tree. Dolly "Madison" however pretty much owns this tree . . . which is ironic since she is the youngest and smallest. That said, several of the other cats enjoy the upper perches and the cat condo. None of them hang out in the hammock. Construction and durability? Hard to say. We've only had this a few weeks, but honestly overall it seems decent enough for the price and typical cat tree construction. I mean to say it probably will not outlast the cat tree I built from scrap carpet and a cedar 4 x 4 . . . but then again . . . this one also looks a lot nicer. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would specifically buy from FEANDREA again due to the price point, construction, ease of assembly . . . and the fact that they even took the time to show buyers how they can turn the shipping box into a cat house . . . which some of the cats seemed to enjoy just as much as the cat tree for the few days we had it kicking around the living room. ----------- Update: Sadly we are down to seven cats now. However, in a bit of good news, the Feandrea cat tree is still in fantastic shape and is being appreciated by more of the cats (although Madison still seems to think it is only her tree as she spends most of the day in it.) A few cats have used the hammock, but it does not get used as much as I was thinking it might. One post may eventually need to be replaced due to the frequent claw sharpening, but overall this product has stood the test of time. More importantly: If I wanted to buy another cat tree right now . . . this would be the one I would purchase with no hesitancy.

Great quality & sturdy!
I was nervous ordering a cat tree online but reviews made me decide to go ahead and get this one. I’m so glad I did!! This is perfect for my energetic, 2 year old, 9 pound kitty. She fits perfectly on the top perches and in the little house! It’s also very sturdy, I have it free standing in front of a window without being anchored into the wall. It wobbles a tiny bit but nothing crazy. The material is very very soft too. Also I was able to assemble this by myself, granted I was sweating by the end of it! Overall great cat tree, I highly recommend!

Great for big cats not large breed cats
It was very easy to assemble and with a little creativity and the extra connectors you could make slight changes to the layout. It’s very sturdy and overall feels solid. Really fantastic value for money. It has a very solid broad base and stands about 5’ tall at its highest point. The perches are a bit small for grown cat to curl up in but a good height to sit in and inspect. Now the reason I gave this great tree 4/5 stars is because it’s great for big cats but not large breed cats. My pictures are of a 5 month old Maine Coon who is already the size of a large cat and is going to probably triple or quadruple his size. Needless to say I will likely purchase a second one and connect or extend to two. Overall I’m very pleased and even two for my needs is good value and good quality.

Great for adult cats
My cats are 7 years old (fair in weight- not too chunky, maybe a little baby fat so im not sure for bigger cats fit) and they fit on it very well. It is very sturdy for them, only part that is slightly wobbly (physics-like wobbly. not weak type wobbly if that makes sense) are the two top beds held by the singular pole. Assembly requires an additional hand. Directions were a little confusing at first, simply because it is very detailed on putting together but if you read it, maybe use a youtube video to help, its not hard. I wasnt really counting the time, but I'd estimate it took 30-45minutes to hour max to set up. Simply because theres a lot of pieces and was ensuring things were secure while building it. All tools were included to assemble, nothing additional needed. Everything came in the mail in brand-new condition. Only thing that is "small" for the adults cats is the mini hammock on the bottom. Simply because its not long enough to comftorable hold them. But besides that, they fit everywhere else. My one cat is in love with the little house. OVERALL- I am very please with the house for it fits adult cats at a decent price, material is well made and furr part is soft. I recommend this product.

Our Cat Condo!
This sits right by our front window and our two newest cats LOVE it. They were shy at first, but we followed all the directions on getting them used to it and now one of them very often sleeps in the highest level -- and she's at her most comfortable and friendly in that high perch, where she feels extra safe. It's also often the first place they run to when they're signaling playtime. Love this. Was easy to assemble -- I'm not very handy and had it together in probably around 15-20 minutes. Also reasonably lightweight and yet feels solid enough that it will not tip over. At first, I was resistant because of the price, but it's a great bargain and good quality tree. ***ADDING 3 YEARS LATER: Even after being used by 3 adult cats to constantly go up and down (to look out the window, etc.), this cat tree is holding up extremely well. And once when a cat vomited on it, we found clean-up to be very easy with Simple Green. Occasionally, we have to hand-twist the posts to screw them back in tighter, but that's understandable, given that two of our cats are overweight (around 15 pounds -- we're working on it!) and jump up and down this thing all the time.

Really good cat tower
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The perfect gift for anyone who has cats, it was great that I could buy this and have it sent to the person I wanted to give it to rather than receive it myself and have to arrange a second bit of shipping, it went together well and the cats really like it.
