940nm "will not emit any glow" , if the flashlight is glowing red its closer to a 850nm LED..

So, this flashlight will not show up on gen 2 or lower night vision goggles because of the 940nm wavelength?

For Gen 1, it won't work, range is super limited, Gen 2 or 3, it will work, but the range and brightness will be less than 850nm.
