Effective And Easy to Use
Where has this been all my life??? Seriously, this lotion applicator makes getting lotion all over my back a breeze. The pad is generously sized and the long handle is slightly curved which makes it easier to maintain contact with your back as you reach around. After applying lotion, I wipe the pad with a damp cloth so I don’t get a buildup of old lotion. The pad is double sided and the handle comes with a total of 4 pads so you can use a new pad every few months. It you have a dry back, I highly recommend this lotion applicator.

Good reach, prevents itchy back, gentle. Durable. Extra pads.
This has a good reach. I wanted it for my back for sensitive skin which gets itchy. I use it after daily shower. Works very well to apply lotion to prevent itching. I don't understand why some reviews said it was rough. It has a texture, but isn't abrasive at all. With sensitive skin, I find it gentle enough. No tendency to fall apart, either. Not sure why several pads are needed, but nice to have and you can reverse the pads. I am only using mine after showers and it's easy to rinse off the lotion I use so pads should last a really long time.

Almost perfect.
I gave this four not five stars for one thing, the handle could be curved a bit more. I use this to apply lotion to my back. For the most part it works but as you may or may not know when you lift your arms for back application, your shoulder blades curve hence lotion does not get applied 100%. All in all works in 90%, good for extremely dry skin.

Works great.
I like it. It does what I need it to do which is apply skin cream to my back. The pads are not soft, but the texture is just right for the job they need to do. They are not like the skin of your hand, but they are also not scratchy. They lotion spreads nicely over the surface of the pad without soaking into the pad so it can be efficiently transferred to your skin. The pad also cleans up easily with soap and water. I'm not sure why you need 4 pads. They don't seem to wear out and cleaning them is simple. I can only reach my middle and lower back by going up from the bottom. Reaching over the shoulder is good for covering the skin on your shoulder blades, but the handle is not long enough for me to reach the middle or lower portion of my back. But going up from the bottom is also easy.

Mostly successful.
I loved the idea of this applicator as soon as I saw it because I'm not able to reach the outside edge of my left ankle by hand. I have medication to apply 2x daily, and have not been able to do so. With this applicator I'm able to reach every place on my body. The pad of the applicator is made of a rather hard unyielding material which makes it less successful around a hard bumpy surface such as an ankle. The topical medication is deposited in the area, but it's not easily spread. I am going to try to fasten a washcloth around it to see if that will apply the medication evenly. I'm hoping this simple "fix" will work. I don't want to have to spread extra lotion on my ankles just to have a good portion of it rub off on my socks. A material which is somewhat yielding ( between a sponge & the current material) would keep contact with the entire area as the lotion and/or medication is being rubbed into the skin for optimum absorption. I'll update within a week.

Easy and Effective
Actually works. Able to lotion my entire back easily. No more twisting and turning, trying to reach the unreachable. I use this daily. Easy to clean, pat dry, and store. Will gift this item.

Excellent product, does exactly what it says and offers a long enough handle to reach everything
This comes nicely packaged in a zipped bag with the stick separate from 4 very large pads (each 3.25 x 4.25" in size, 1.25" thick). The pad material is like a standard beach flip-flop, but non-porous and very light and firm. A hole in each allows you to insert the stick, and when inserted, the handle still provides about 13" of reach to the start of the pad. So that means, reaching back, you should be able to hit areas up to 17.25" away, pretty much full coverage of anywhere you need to get to. The stick also has a nice curve (visible in their picture) so you can use that as needed. The first thing I used it for was a cream that had a very high menthol content (you know, the really stinky muscle relief cream, but not that brand, something newer and "Nano"). I pulled my back muscles BADLY, excruciating pain, and my wife doesn't like the smell of those stinky creams. She'll help, wearing neoprene gloves, but she wants to get out of there as fast as possible. So this stick came to the rescue. I could glob the stuff onto the pad, and rub it in for a minute or two, even put more on for a second coat. Ahh... relief! The pad is textured too, so it holds the cream and also aids in distributing it across your skin. I worried that the high menthol content would stay permanently embedded in the pad, but at least I had 3 spares in the package. If you just wash it lightly, yes, the scent stays. But with just a little soap and working it across the pad with a little pressure from your fingertips, it scrubs out very easily. A quick rinse, and not one bit of menthol smell left behind. If it can resist absorbing THAT, then it should be good to go no matter what you use it for. The handle seems strong and sturdy, seems like it could be bamboo or beech or maple. They don't really say and I'm not a wood grain expert -- it's just a very hard wood. It also includes a nice rubberize wrap around the handle. Overall a fantastic product! Just what I was looking for, and probably the one you're looking for too.

Why did I not see this earlier in my life! The pad is soft and I was able to put my allergy cream on my whole back made my life so much easier!

Não é maravilhoso. Gasta muito mais creme do que se passar com a mão. E não passa perfeitamente e de modo uniforme nas costas.
