I have 5 Orbit B-hyve Smart Hose Watering Timers and this replaced the AA batteries in all of them. The timers are at the heart of my self-installed sprinkler system. They work great but eat batteries. Fortunately, I have an outlet very close to where I installed them. In all honesty, I don't come up with any of these ideas. Someone posted pics on Reddit how he used this very adapter for the same. Since I can't solder, I printed AA battery dummies on a 3D printer. A small hole drilled in the front of the timer's battery door gave me access and a little caulk make it weather tight. Since I had it, I used solid core garage door button wire. Now all five battery timers report 100% battery life all the time. One less thing to worry about this watering season.

****UPDATE **** Finally got a response from the seller and they shipped a new one. New one is functioning great. Bumped rating back up to 4-stars since they handled the replacement. ********************** Contacted seller regarding power supply no longer functioning after 4 months and received no response. Moving down to 1-star in response to being completely ignored by seller. Poor customer service in not backing your product. ********************** This charger just randomly stopped working... None of the adapter work and no indicator showing it is plugged in... Just DEAD. ********************** The SoulBay Universal adapter arrived very quickly from the seller in professional packaging. The package included the charger itself along with 8 different adapters. The nice thing about the adapters is that there are no prongs to deal with when putting them on the charger. The charger itself also has a selector switch to adjust the voltage. So far this adapter has worked like a charm. It does have an LED on the charger itself that is quite bright, so a little electrical tape over that LED was necessary unless I want to light up the room at night. My only complaint is that the length of the card is very short. I didn't actually measure, but I would say around 4 feet or so. In looking more closely at the description, it says 1.5 meters. So, a relatively short cord. I would recommend the manufacturer make it more like 6 feet or around 2 meters. All in all, a nice replacement adapter with lots of connectors, just a bright LED and short cord.
