This is a "value" product, suitable for lite use.
If you only need these files for occasional lite use, I think they're a good inexpensive option. If you're going to use them a lot, I'd probably look for some better options. I used them for lite DIY gunsmithing, to clean up some internal parts in a black powder revolver. They worked fine. But I found my Dremel was of more use. These didn't seem to cut metal as well as I had hoped. But I think they'd probably be fine for other materials.
