Cheap, didn’t last a day
This spider is very cheaply made. The on/off switch on the spider never worked. It was always on so we had to remove the batteries to keep it from draining using them up overnight. Also, the fixed wheel on the front of the spider broke and now doesn’t move very well and scratches our wood floor.

So gross, made my cat gagged
I got this for my cats as they love to chase roaches on cat TV. Well turns out they would probably not make it in the wild. Lol. My oldest gagged multiple times seeing this toy roach before finally throwing up. Took me a few times playing with it before I realized it was making him do this. Guess he thought it was ugly as well. Poor kitty. I've since hid it out of view and plan to go scare my coworker with it instead. Overall it's easy to use and control. There's only two control buttons, forward and right turning. Noise level is about what you'd expect in a remote item. It comes with batteries. The stress poop that comes with it was interesting....I don't know what to do with it. Would be a good gag or prank item.

Muy especial sobretodo para regalos

Meh… not enough functionality
It goes forward in a curved line and spins. It does not go backward so when it gets stuck somewhere, you have to manually move it to get it unstuck. Also, it doesn’t jump. I expected a grasshopper robot to hop.

Its loud and has lights on it
Its kinda hard to scare someone with a roach when it has red n blue lights on it.

My granddaughter loved this for her 5 birthday!

Disappointed
My 5 year old grandson loves grasshoppers so I thought this would be a great present for him. As a remote control toy it is disappointing. He likes the fact he has a giant hopper so not a total waste of money.

Super article!

Picked this up for my youngest kid - who's 19, but absolutely loves octopi (octopuses?). The octopi looks vaguely angry (with glowy eyes, no less!) and takes a grand total of 5 AAA batteries (3 for Octopus, 2 for remote), and both the battery compartments are secured with a screw so remember to have a small screwdriver for your Octopus buddy. It's still a cute Octopi, though, being all red and tiny. With the remote, you can rotate the left tentacles, the right tentacles (to turn, obviously) and the other to move forwards. To move backwards, you press both the turning buttons at once. It works quite well and is pretty rudimentary, but it's cute and fun to goof off with. Kid loved it. It's a great little toy, and is good for small kids (or much bigger ones, like mine, who love octopi).
