Don’t ever buy them online!!! There was a leak in one bottle and made the whole package smell disgusting. I refrigerated them ASAP but the next day when I opened them, they still stink. I tried a tiny bit and I promise that was the most gross taste in the world, I threw up immediately. I love this cream and brand, but don’t get it online!!! Buy them at grocery stores! Seriously! They really should have quicker shipment. $22.41 bought a lesson!

Our guest appreciated having clotted cream in the US

When these arrived, both were completely spoiled. The smell out of them made me gag and nearly vomit. I had hoped that ordering in winter would prevent spoilage but according to reviews, that was wishful thinking. Thankfully I had heavy whipping cream in the fridge but I wanted to stay true to a recipe and get double cream. I’m the future, I’ll stick to what’s fresh.

I am so terribly disappointed. As soon as the package arrived I got it inside the house and opened the box. The clotted Cream was like water. I shook the bottle a bit and put it into the refrigerator. It is grainy now and does not taste the same as what we had in London. It was expensive. I cannot just disregard the merchandise and discard it. Why can't you add an inexpensive cold pack to preserve the jars of clotted cream?

This was an excellent product for tea time.

This is a shelf stable product until opened. Both of mine were dated to expire in October 2019. There was visible separation, but this is normal and labeling indicates to just stir. I opened the first jar and the smell was beyond putrid. The cream was separated but the spiked portion was so dry and hard. I opened the second jar to compare and it was fine, no bad odor and stirred without issue. I of course discarded the spoiled product since there is no option to return and as there is no way to report the bad product I am left to communicate via review. I have used this product before and it is good but it is an expensive product and disappointing to be out the money and the product. The smell of the first jar was so bad that it was hard to consume the second even though it was fine.
