Just got this installed on my Living Room. Very very easy to install and lights up my Living room sufficiently. Main light is from Warm White to cool white with different brightness level and the back light is a bonus which is excellent. Overall very happy with purchase. I hope it lasts long. I haven’t tried Alexa so not rating for that criteria.

I am absolutely thrilled with this ceiling light. I have been looking out for a light which was bright enough to do my sewing and crafts in the evenings as the light in my room was really poor. The brightness is evenly spread around the entire room and it is like sewing in daylight. I can't praise it enough. My electrician was so impressed he is going to get one for himself!

All "smart" devices I have require a split 2.4ghz signal for setting up, but thereafter are happy with a combined signal.Not this one, as I discovered when I tried to turn it on from hundreds of miles away. Experimentation when I got home revealed that it only works on a split signal, rendering it useless for me.Even having to set devices up using dedicated 2.4ghz is mad.

Light worked well until it seems to be permanently offline on the app and I cannot get it to go back into pairing mode. Prior to this it was great but is now just a dumb light with no controls

Control of the light will only work if your WiFi is limited to 2.4GHz operation only. Almost all WiFi routers now operate on dual frequency and a high proportion cannot be configured otherwise. Why would you compromise WiFi support for your smart phones, computers, printers and TVs just to control one light. I can switch it on and off at 6000K full power, but that is all. Very disappointed!!

So I asked my wife to get me this for my birthday. I read the reviews and questions, and everyone was saying it was easy to install due to only needing 2 wires, live and neutral. Upon opening my ceiling rose I had 8 wires. I identified my live and neutral, but I had 2 switches for light on the wall. So trying to work out how to get it to work with 2 switches left me baffled. Hours later after starting and my wife complaining, I decided to get my electrician friend to have a look. For it to work with 2 switches it meant I needed to use connectors on the old wires and try to shove them into the ceiling and top of the light fitting. The instructions are rubbish at explaining what to do if you need to carry on a lighting loop to be powered by 2 switches. There's no help on the Internet and asking a question results in being answered by someone with I.Q of a hamster.Once connected the light is good and easy to use. The smart life app is a bit laggy to control the light.The biggest disappointment is the colour mode. The actual light bulb only goes white to different temuporatures of white and the colour mode is a small ring above the light, which isn't as bright as the main bulb. Looks nicer than I thought though.

Bright as hell but can be dimmed if kids get hold of app they make it flash so I feel like I’m back at the Hacienda, best thing is Alexa I can be even more lazy now. Easy to fit and read instructions for Wi-Fi but worked first time
