good for the purpose will probably DAMAGE MODERN MONITORS - READ FOR YOUR MONITOR'S SAKE!
So I've been happily using these little note holders on the sides of my monitor for about a year now with no incident. And it's a cheap household type item and I didn't feel compelled to write a review. However, in preparing to change up my desk, I was trying to remove one of the holders and the adhesive is SOOOOOOOO strong that instead of coming off the monitor, it actually pulled off the corner front of my glass panel and that must have cracked something underneath on that part of my monitor because there is now a half dollar size black blotch that looks like an ink spill. after i heard a pop/crack, i saw the black disk form and I knew that I had damaged my really nice 34" monitor.I wouldn't really even blame the product... it's meant to STICK and STAY STUCK. the real issue is that in today's monitors, you more than likely have a BEZEL-LESS design. That means edge to edge glass... and as i've discovered the hard way, the electronics go all the way to the corners.in older monitors with a plastic frame surrounding the screen that is actually not electronically connected to the screen itself, it would be fine i would think.but yeah, unfortunately, it's left a bad mar on an otherwise really perfect monitor.sigh.so learn from my misfortune. if you can attach this to a plastic frame part of the monitor, this will probably be fine. but if it would have to attach to the glass that is front surface of the monitor, DON'T DO IT!as it is, i've taped a piece of card like a bandage on that part of the monitor since the rest of the monitor is still fine and still probably has more screen realestate than anything else i would end up buying even with the black spot.

Interesting find!
Found these by accident, and love them. Frees up a lot of space on my desk and computer from those millions of sticky notes reminders.
