Perfect tool for the job! I could not be happier! Well built and very heavy duty! Used it on a Toyota Sienna and it worked very well for the wheel bearing and the spindle (part with wheel studs). Very impressed!

Good quality, good value compared to other stores. The only bad thing is that it chewed through the washers but it was because of my fault. Take your time and learn how to use it and don’t forget to lubricate the bolt/nut and washers and try to use a ratchet first instead of an impact gun.

Tool works as needed but tool instructions could use a vehicle manufacturer tool usage guide to verify what pieces are the perfect fit for each application of removal and installation. I still recommend this tool for the type of job it's intended to do. Seller and Manufacturer are good to deal with.

Great set at a good price. Made replacing the wheel bearing a much easier job. Seems pretty durable and has a lot of size options to fit your needs.

I’m not much for writing reviews, but I wanted to help others who will need to purchase this Front axle/Bearing Removal kit. The kit performed flawlessly! I had a front bearing job on a 2007 Toyota Yaris. Even though I have a 12 ton hydraulic press, I purchased this kit as backup, and I’m glad I did. Having read many reviews before I purchased it and studying the seller’s description, there is lacking and wrong information. You will need 1 1/16” and 1 1/4” combination wrenches if doing this by hand. I used a 1 1/4” wrench with a 1 1/16” socket on a 1/2” breaker bar. It took some pressure, but it finally broke free. Be prepared for a very loud pop! I had no metal shavings like so many people complained about. I think the metal shavings are from those using an impact, I did it by hand , simply to test the kit. I would in the future use an impact, but I would only use short bursts at a time. It will help if you will first apply anti-seize or some sort of grease on the threads and nut. I did apply anti-seize and ran the nut all the way up the bolt threads first to remove any burrs on either of the pieces (there were several). I would not hesitate to buy or use this product! If you need to do a bearing axle replacement, buy this kit and have it available, but do not forget the socket and wrenches. See two included photos for reference. Enjoy, Durk

Used this product to remove 30+ year old subframe bushings that are pressed in and extremely rusty, with some additional help form a blow torch and a 3/8 breaker bar, it made quick work of an otherwise painful job. All of the kits pieces are exceptionally robust, I had no issues with the threads stripping or wearing (like other reviews I've seen). Assembly is quick and easy, the bolt is even pre lubricated. There are plenty of sizes to fit practically every automotive application. The case is a bit flimsy, I did end up breaking it after I dropped it by my own fault, it is only plastic holding a lot of carbon steel pieces. To me this is a non issue, between the two bolts that are supplied you can carry all of the pieces on them for storage and minimize space taken up by the case. One thing I do wish was better is the length of the sleeves, I had reached full travel before the bushing bottomed out on the other side of the sleeve and used a rubber mallet for the rest

Overall the concept of this tool is awesome and it’s actually decently made . There is one major downfall preventing it from receiving 5 stars . The washers that are designed to save the tool( which I think are a great idea ) shred metal flakes everywhere when you’re pressing the bearing in. The tool is very effective at pressing bearing in and out it did a great job but cleaning up all the metal flakes from the washers and making sure they were all over the new bearing was a mess .. this kit should include way thicker and higher quality washer and it would be a 5 star best tool on the market no doubt . Orion I love your tools if you’re reading this PLEASE MAKE THE WASHERS FOR THIS KIT THICKER AND MORE ROBUST AND THIS WILL BE THE BEST KIT AVAILABLE !!!!!!

Bought this after reading through the reviews of a few puller kits, and as this one seemed to have the best ratio of positive to negative experiences, I decided to give it a go. Needed to press out a 97mm rear bearing on a Mercedes Vito van, so the kit had its work cut out for it! On first look, the quality of the pieces was surprisingly decent for the price…well finished, and nicely packaged. In use, the component pieces worked very well and were sufficiently robust to do the job…couple of turns with a long breaker bar got the bearing moving, and then wound it out the rest of the way with a long handled ratchet. Everything worked exactly as it should, with no issues apart from the washers being a little soft as others have mentioned…although despite being a bit marred from the nut, they would go again fine! As far as the main bolt thread quality is concerned, there isn’t a mark on it and all the threads are still perfect so I would be willing to bet the bad reviews of this component are down to the user ignoring the clear instructions to not use an impact gun…user error basically! Using hand tools as directed, it’s more than up to the task! For a home DIY spanner monkey, I’d happily recommend this set to anyone considering it…it’s a fraction of the price of a ‘professional’ version, but performs its task very well. 5 stars

Durable

I got this as I needed to replace my wheel bearings on my ATV. After reading some of the bad reviews I was very skeptical on this product but figured I would give it a try. Boy was I glad I did. This made removing and installing the wheel bearings so easy. This worked like a charm. Now it may be the way I'm using it but the only issue I am having or had was once I started installing the bearing and making sure it was going in straight it would seem to go off angle just a bit. Enough to know that the tightening of the bolt became harder so I would stop, remove and start again. Again this was probably something I was doing wrong. Overall the whole package seems very sturdy and well constructed. I would recommend.
