So far, this thing is pretty much everything I wanted. I bought it to use with two sets of Sony Wh-CH720N headphones. The process of hooking it up was pretty easy. My TV has an optical output (I suppose pretty much any new TV does) so that's a nice, easy one cable solution. The optical cable that comes with it is a bit short for my liking but I suppose that will be relatively easy to rectify with a longer optical cable (I probably have that somewhere. I just haven't used it for a long time and don't remember where I put it). The power cable is a bit more of an issue, as it's somewhat proprietary and is rather short. I am not sure my headphones are compatible with the "low latency" codec this thing claims it has but I haven't noticed any lag at all so far so whatever. The only slight qualms I have is getting both headsets connected was a bit confusing since there is no display and (as near as I can tell, no indicator for which (1 or 2) one you are attempting to connect. I mean, if your memory is normal I guess that might not be an issue but sometimes I forget stuff I just did so I didn't remember which button I pushed. But, I somehow got both headsets connected in relatively short order and found everything works as it should. I am also pretty impressed with the range, as it covers my entire apartment where the built in bluetooth in my PC starts cutting out about halfway. The complaints others have about the light flashing when not in use aren't really a big deal for me. Firstly because I can sleep with my lamp on most times so light doesn't even bother me. But also because you simply press the power button and hold it down for a couple seconds when you're done using it and it shuts the unit down (including the light). I suppose it would be nice if it had an automatic timeout but hey. I needed to solve the problem for two people to be able to listen wirelessly at the same time and this solves that problem for a reasonable price. A worry that I had before I got it was whether or not I'd be able to control the volume on each headset independently. Happy to report (with my Sony headphones, at least) that works. You just use the volume controls on the headphones. The volume control on the unit itself only raises the volume on both headsets equally so you have to adjust them individually for individual preference. Which is how I wanted it anyway. Overall, pretty decent product that will have you up and doing what you need to do right out of the box as long as your devices are compatible. Not taking any stars off for the lack of display because I knew that before I bought it. This company makes models with a display but they cost significantly more than I wanted to pay.

I bought 2 sets. Within a few short minutes, I had the headphones paired and working on 1 tv using the optical connection. The unit draws very little current, so as another reviewer stated- if it is connected to the USB port, it will power up and down when the TV is switched on and off. That is awesome! I didnt want to have another power supply behind the TV. The unit is behind the TV, and still communicates to the headphones, even outside of the TV room. A little expensive for what it is, but it is definitely good quality, larger than anticipated. The other TV didnt work properly with the other unit. Tried the digital output, and I could not adjust the volume on the headphones, which made it kind of useless. I will be sending the 2nd unit back.

I have used this product for 2 months now. It works so well! Set up was easy and I can connect any Bluetooth headset. I needed it so that I can operate both my sound bar and and my wireless headset at the same time. I use my PS5 as my streaming device. But Sony only allows their headset to connect to the PS5. The Sony headset will not operate at the same time as the sound from the TV. Using this product solves all my issues. I have some hearing loss therefore I don't hear the sound bar as well as my wife. I can't turn the sound bar up without hurting her.
