I am an educator and I plan to use this set of letters with my preschool class (five year olds). I have several baseplates and plan to put out the tiles with them and use them for several activities, including spelling words, rhyming lists, number activities and letter matching and abc order. They are very durable tiles and will withstand some heavy use by little hands. It comes with a tool to help easily take off the tiles from the baseplate which is very useful and also fun for kids to use. I suggest getting a special box to organize the letters in (they sell ones with enough compartments to separate each letter). This makes it easier to find the letters you are looking for. Or if you want the students to find the letters as part of the activity you can spread them out on a tray. While I already have the set that comes with the magnetic letter board..I’m so glad they sell the tile set separately too so I could get additional letters/numbers to use with regular baseplates. The kids will also have fun adding these letters to other LEGO bricks as well as the baseplate. I can see them wanting to use them to write their name and label their creations after playtime so they can save them. Great product!

These are a great addition to our Lego collection. Highly recommend. We've also been using them for spelling practice by leaving notes for each other. It should be noted however that the description lists them as magnetic. Ours are not. I didn't expect them to be.

Disappointed that the letters are not centered on bricks as they were in a separate order. Some letters are even partially scratched off.

I made a Lego art for my husband on Father’s Day and these worked perfect. The letters and print are great quality. Now my daughter and I used them for fun activities while she learns her letters!
