HDMI extension done right
For those running a HDMI 'Jugaad' with couplers and long cables - there's a better way 😎. This extender's a solid option if you want reliable, good quality HDMI over long distances. Pricier than DIY couplers, cheaper than active HDMI, but if quality matters, it's worth it 💯. STP cable's a must, HDCP compliance is a thing (use a splitter if needed). Works great for me as a two-way extender.

Frequent Signal loss and blackout
It is easy to install but giving some frequency error very frequently. One has to plug out the HDMI and plug it again to make it working. Also, the screen goes blank for two seconds time and again

Works like a charm!!
When I built my home, the electrician made a blunder by not providing a larger conduit between the TV and the cabinet holding the set top box. Had to bear with an exposed cable for a long time. Then I got to know about HDMI over 2 Cat 5/CAT 6 cables.. lined up the two cables throught the conduit and used the adapters. But this had its limitations, the voice wouldn't carry over, disturbance in the feed etc. When I came across the OREI tech, I gave it a shot and installed it. Luckily I had the CAT6 cable running through the conduit. It works perfect. No disturbances, voice gets carried to the TV.. perfect Have to try the ARC tho... It's worth the money paid..

Works with Cat6 not Cat6A
I bought this product to send video to project over long distance. The build quality was very good. The receiver is POE and thats the Icing. I bought CAT6A cable thinking if it works with CAT6 and CAT7 it should definitely work with CAT6A but to my disappointment it didn't work with CAT6A cable. I tried with different CAT6A cable length and it simply didn't work. I send the device back to the seller thinking the device is spoiled. When I contacted the seller, they themselves did not tell me that it doesn't work with CAT6A cable. I send the device to the seller and the seller said it was working fine. They send the device back and after a 3 months of experiment I found out it works with CAT6 cable. If you think you'll buy a good quality CAT6A cable for this device then you'll be wasting money. I'm reiterating again 'THIS DEVICE DOES NOT WORK WITH CAT6A CABLE', it will work with CAT6 cable. The quality of the video coming out of the device doesn't seem to deteriorate though.
