I got this when I noticed the grip on my Callaway hybrid was starting to get gummy. I don't play a lot, so didn't want to go to the effort and cost of totally regripping it. This grip wrap was a perfect solution. It took about 10 minutes to get it on the way I wanted, looks good, and work fine. A good, economical solution to my problem. Love it.

These are pretty easy to put on and have the tacky feel I like. I don't use a glove. One came loose pulling it out of the bag. Wrapped the bottom with electrical tape...no problem now. Haven't used them long enough to know if they will last. They are worth a try.

Ladies and Gentlemen , This is hands down one of the best upgrade / mods I have done and at a super affordable price point . Literally made my old school TaylorMade Burner 2.0 set feel like brand new clubs .(yes , I know ...lol) The grip wraps are an item I never knew I needed. Until now Easy to wrap around your existing grips . Very soft, plush and comfortable feel to them If you have played baseball , they feel exactly like the Lizard brand . At 1/10 of their cost. Very tacky , but not sticky .Just right . No glove for me anymore and I have used one my whole life Can be removed so easy if you want a stiffer or more plush feel . A couple of tips : The "wrapping black logo tape" that seems like just an esthetic wrapper are indeed your finishing tape . 1. Remove the finishing tape and cut in half . 2. Remove the very thin protective sheeting . 3. Get a piece of electrical tape and fix it to the end of the grip , and attach it to the shaft at the top ..(you will wrap back over to where the tape ends and start to go down ) 3. Start at the top of grip , even with your shafts top plug / cap , but not over it 4. Work your way down , wrapping close to 1/4 of the width . Meaning you should see a 1/4 of the material underneath under the wrap lip 5. All the way to the bottom and remove the glue tab covering (only has glue on bottom) 6. Wrap it just under the lip of your current grip so it does not reach the shaft 7. Use finishing tape halfway on the top plug cap and half over your new grip 8. Wrap finishing tape half way over the new grip and half attaching to the shaft at the bottom , filling and sealing the space between shaft and grip 9. Go hit some balls you are Done .... I've been trying to find a comfortable grippy wrap for my wheelchair handles. I haven't liked the things offered specifically for the chairs. The stupid covers pop off at dangerous and inconvent times. Anyhow, I picked up some of this gold wrap and it worked awesome. The grip is great, comfortable, doesn't overheat, doesn't get freezing and was relatively easy to wrap. I used several on each wheel chair rim, over lapping them and using the included tape to add an extra seal at the end of each. It's been on the chair about 2 months now and despite the fact I'm a bit of a savage. And smash into crap with it hasn't come undone. I have a couple extra in case part of it becomes damaged I can literally replace the one segment. Honestly won't use anything else at this point. It was a little out of the box thinking.but works better than everything I've used that's engineered for this purpose.

Installs easily and provides nice additional girth, tack, and cushion to existing grips. Tapes are held on at top of club with only minimal adhesive and stick mostly by their own over-wrapping. So, if you have an carry bag or old-school golf bag where club grips bang into one another at the bottom of the bag these tapes will rip off virtually instantly. Shouldn't be an issue with the big newer cart bags with individual sleeves for clubs.

This is one of those times where you get what you pay for. The wraps were easy to install and look very nice. However, the reason I purchased these was to improve the grippiness of my clubs and that feature only lasted a short time. I'm not going to bother removing them but now I'm going to have to purchase something else to cover them and get the grip I need. Two stars. UPDATE 2/5/25: though I was dissatisfied with the wraps Saplize US made it good for me. Plus two stars! 🙂
