"Sharpens Like a Pro! The Best Whetstone Kit for Any Kitchen"
If you’re looking to keep your knives razor-sharp, this Complete Knife Sharpening Stone Kit by Goodjob is everything you need and more! From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this kit was made with quality and attention to detail in mind. The dual grit 400/1000 whetstone gives you the versatility you need, whether your knife just needs a quick touch-up or a full sharpening overhaul. The 400 grit is perfect for setting a new edge on dull blades, while the 1000 grit side smooths and refines the edge to perfection, leaving you with a professional-level finish. And if you’re new to sharpening, don’t worry – this kit includes clear instructions and even an angle guide that helps you achieve the correct sharpening angle every time, making it almost foolproof! The base is sturdy, keeping the stone secure while you work, which is a huge plus. It didn’t slip around or wobble at all, even when applying a bit more pressure. I also appreciated the included honing guide – it’s perfect for making sure I’m keeping my angle consistent, especially for my more delicate kitchen knives. After just a couple of sessions with this whetstone, my knives are slicing through everything like butter. It’s amazing to have such control over the sharpness of my blades, and it saves me from constantly buying new ones or paying for professional sharpening. This kit is truly a fantastic investment for anyone who wants to maintain their knives at peak performance. Highly recommend for home cooks and professionals alike! This is, hands down, one of the best purchases I’ve made for my kitchen.

Good kit with some flaws.
In general it works. But some points are annoying. 400 stone is too soft for its number, didn't work well for resharpening of very dull blade and the stone need flattening after first use. 1000 stone is better for maintanence of sharpness. Wooden stand slips on the ocunter top. The worst part is the angle guide. White stripes creat too mach drag on the stone. The guide itself leaves scratches on the knife blade and knife looses its presentability. Just learn to maintain the angle manually.

Results in less than 10 minutes.
I'd been wanting to upgrade my old, worn out sharpening stone for a while now. I had been looking at a few sets but didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. Finally settled on this one, which I thought struck a good balance between affordable and quality. Really glad I did. I took my most beat up, worn out kitchen knife and made a video of it. I figured if this set could bring that back then it will do just fine with anything else I throw at it. You can see for yourself that before I started it couldn't even cut paper, but I'll let you know that it couldn't cut much of anything else either. I only worked on it for a few minutes but already you could see the improvement. Took out most of the dings and pits and got it to the point of being able to slice the same paper that it couldn't manage just a moment earlier. Pretty happy about it. My only complaint is that the logo on the front of the stones makes the sharpening motion less smooth then it could be. I'm pretty sure a light sanding will take it off though. I'd highly recommend this set to anyone. From kitchen knives to hunting knives, it'll get the job done.

Very good product for the price!
I really like this product, I have been sharpening my own blades for years now and have tried many different sharpening sets. This set surprised me to be honest. For the price I didn't expect the quality that I received. This is great for someone who enjoys having good sharp knives in the kitchen or pocket and good for various tools as well. Comes with directions and tips so I would say it would be good for beginners as well as those of us that have been at it for years. Only thing I can think of that it is missing is a spray bottle to keep water in because the stones will dry as you are using them so it's good to mist them as they need it. Thanks Goodjob for doing a good job on this product. Looking forward to checking out new products in the future

Check the stones for flatness, before using!
For the price, you get a lot of product; unfortunately it isn't good product. Let's start with the stones: they are unevenly poured (the pictures show, not just the curve, but also the unevenly distribution of grit type. If that weren't bad enough, the stones are not what they claim. The 400 is more like 600 and the 1000 is closer to 800. The 3k and 8k are just ridiculously overstated. What this means is, you do not have the coarseness required to reproduce a severely neglected knife or the fineness to put a mirror polish on a blade. That isn't terrible news though. If you have a well maintained set of knives, the grit starts at a great range and the steps are more gradual than what is claimed. But it is false advertising and my stones would need to be surfaced to eliminate the curve to be useful. Next up, the chisel guide: just throw it away. A mediocre guide would have two rollers, on each end; not one narrow roller in the middle. Angle guide: also trash. This is very poorly designed. Just spent $20 on a good guide, if you really need one. The one saving grace is that the glides appear to be ceramic, so you can use it to sharpen serrations. Edit: the seller sent a replacement. The stones are much flatter. About 5 minutes of conditioning and they are a great set for kitchen cutlery maintenance.
