Read the reviews, and decided to take a chance. Needed overnight charging out of the box, and was surprised when it worked the next day. Will report back if it does not last or fails for any reason.

The battery arrived on time and has functioned perfectly. We will have to see if this replacement battery will last as long as the brand. Well worth the price.

This battery fits the handle, but cannot be removed without damaging the battery, itself. My 49 year old otoscope/ophthalmoscope works as good as new. I hope it proves to be long lasting.

They are good about replacements for bad batteries, but both of my first two attempts were bad batteries. (They would not charge.) If you are NOT in a hurry and want their affordable price, I expect they will keep replacing any bad ones until you get a good one.. #1 never worked, so I returned it and reordered. Battery #2 which wouldn’t charge either. (I am retired, so time was not of the essence for me.) We had sold our house and moved shortly after the replacement battery arrived. I had found that #2 would not charge either. (to multiple charge/discharge attempts in each battery’s case) By the time I got to unpack all our “not-immediately-necessary” things which we had in long-term storage and retrieve battery #2, it was past its “return by” date. My fault.
