Fit well on my 2006 Element LX with a sony xav-ax1000. The pics above are with the unit and without it. Clearly, the dash kit is worth shelling out the $13. It did take some finicing to make it fit snug but nothing a regular person couldn't figure out.

I’m very detail oriented and this fit exactly as I hoped. Was really worried after some of the reviews but I had no troubles. Deck was an MVH1400NEX. Grabbed some screws from the Ace Hardware that fit well, attached the 3 pieces (the two sides clip to the deck trim) and then matched up the holes to where I needed them. Took all of 5 minutes. Slid it into the double din slot on the car and attached the second trim piece and it fit perfect. You do need to move the clips from the old trim piece over. So don’t lose those. Also the bottom metal clips don’t reach if you push them all the way down so I left them as high as I could and it snapped right in. It all feels a bit flimsy but I put it in and took it off a few times as I adjusted some wires and it didn’t show any signs of breaking.

Does the job but extremely thin and cheap. Be very careful with the handling process.
