I have sculpted and lathe turned wood for many years and if I had a dollar for ever hour spent sweating through the sanding process I would be a very rich man! The 3M Xtract Clean Sanding System changed all that for me the first time I tried it. Excellent and FAST results with only a light touch needed. As such, I was able to concentrate on finessing my finish work rather than practically slaving over a resistant scratch that just would not go away. This is the second revolutionary product I’ve bought from 3M in the last couple months, the other product being the 3M 2091 Dust Mask. Superior protection and your glasses will never steam up! I don’t what’s happened at 3M product research, but whatever it is, I hope they keep at it! Great new products in the area of sanding and dust protection. 100% Satisfied

My complaint/suggestion to 3M - Manufacture finer grits...600...1000...2000. My praises - I used 3M Xtract for automotive wet and dry sanding and was really impressed. I sanded wood just to verify that it was as great as it seemed. I rarely sand paint but, always sand wood so I thought maybe that was the difference I was experiencing. It really is great! I used it on my orbital sander as well as for hand sanding. I used several different grits and as expected; the finer grits clog more but, it was minimal. I have used lots of sand paper (primarily for wood applications) and my biggest frustration has always been clogging. This design does an excellent job of overcoming that challenge. The durability is also exceptional. It cuts very well and you can brush it and/or wash it when it clogs to bring it back to life. Very satisfied with adhesion, cutting ability, durability, and anti-clog feature!!! Highly recommended and will never by another brand. ***Make finer grits please***
