Bought this to pair with a headphone amp so I could use wired headphones with my ps5, works great.

With the newer iPads not having a dedicated audio port, I needed a way to use my stash of wired earphones. I have been very pleased with this adapter. In fact, I've been so pleased, we recently bought a second unit. Its well constructed and most importantly, it doesn't inhibit sound quality.

I have a pixel 9A and sounds horrible with this cable. But I blame the pixel. My understanding is they don't have a DAC internally. When this one didn't work I was convinced the DAC claim in the description of the cable was a lie so I took it apart and sure enough there is an audio DAC cable in made by realtek, ALC4030. I have no idea how a small passive chip in a cable engages the DAC without a driver but it doesn't work with the pixel 9. All the other phones have a DAC internally and work great.
