DK always has a good audio learning / book program. Step by step teaching is easy to follow. I not only have the Spanish language but also the Chinese. I find it enjoyable and helpful

As a spanish teacher, I recommend this book. It explains the basics and provides exercises to practice all the grammar points. It comes with a free app to download on your device and listen to the pronunciation.

This book is so much better than other ones I've bought and looked at the market so as to learn the basics of Spanish. Okay, you're not going to learn a new language in 3 months, but it does give you all the necessary tools to learn the very basics. I actually use it in conjunction with Babel, a Spanish book of short stories that is also translated into English and listening to podcasts. Great book. would definitely recommend :-)

A great learning book.

This book is the best book I have read for learning Spanish. It simplifies a lot of things that used to be confusing. I am really glad I purchased the book.

As someone who has been learning French on and off for decades, believe me, NOBODY can learn a second language in three months. However, this book is well-structured and easy to understand. One point to note is that each page is essentially an image of the hard copy equivalent page. This means that you can't specify the font on a device: the only way you can enlarge the image is to pinch it. On a small device like a kindle or a phone, the font is too small to be legible. So, you have to zoom every page in order to be able to read it. This does make navigating around the book quite cumbersome. It's probably best read on a tablet.

So far I have been really enjoying the course. The book has a good lay out . I use this book as a framework to follow with chat GPT and DeepL. I don't use the audio to be honest.

It was a give for my husband that stil loves books! He just loves it. I am fluent in Spanish but he is not and he can not put it done.
