I'm going to go ahead and give 5 stars, because I don't honestly think you can expect, want or need more. It's simple to use, non fussy, and so far it hasn't broken (in one week), which is more than you can say for most of the tat you find on Amazon. I measured the voltage with a voltmeter, and it was producing 20V at 2mA. Some potential improvements could be a smaller device, it feels light and plastic like, so presumably there is room for improvement there. Also a rechargeable battery would be good, but you can get around this by just buying a 9v rechargeable battery from Amazon. Maybe a carry case would be nice too. However, let's be honest, we are depressed so do we honestly care about any of this little stuff, if it helps with depression or whatever, then who cares about what it looks like, we have bigger issues to care about. Also it's a lot cheaper than the £400 one I see being advertised everywhere, which is just over-engineered, and also doesn't allow you to choose where to place the electrodes, which is half the point of these things, to try different arrangements and see what works best.
