Bought 3
I love these. I bought 3 of these for my children. I leave the boiling hot water in there for 30 minutes before I put there food inside and it keeps it hot for them until lunch time.

Not as great as I hoped
It’s a LOT of trouble to get a hot soup to stay warm. Heating water, putting in thermos, waiting for it to absorb, finally adding soup! 2-3 hours later, soup is only warm. Can’t wash in microwave!

Great item for keeping hot food warm.
As a child I use to eat my mom's homemade macaroni and cheese or grandma's homemade raviolis at school in an insulated thermos. These have been around for a long time (I don't know the brand or what they were made of then) but I will say they have been around forever for good reason because they really keep food hot! One of my relatives once said he would bring a thermos full of soup to meetings in the city because he didn't like eating in the restaurants. So these are really helpful. My daughter is in pre-kindergarten for half day and I thought since she goes to school in the am, there would just be a snack period. Seeing as the kids do have lunch and my daughter is a picky eater and she's home before 1:00 I was giving her a yogurt or a little egg salad as she likes. However with the cold winter weather I knew she would appreciate some warm oatmeal. According to my daughter, it stays a perfect temperature and keeps it fresh tasting. Iv even used it to pack cut up quarters of grilled cheese and she said it stayed the right temperature. I worked in a school and a few students brought in ones that were almost impossible to open aandI felt embarrassed asking the custodians to open them. I'm glad this is easier to open but I think the key is not to close it when it's piping hot (the food won't likely be too hot by the but I think it creates a vaccine seal.) All and all a great product.

My second grader said this is his favorite lunch container
Thus far there have been no leaks, my son says his lunch stays warmer than the other insulated containers we have tried, it is easy for him to open and the opening is large enough to fit an adult hand to wash it out

Not great
I bought one of these plus another, similar variety from Aldi. I tested both with hot water to see which kept the water hotter after certain times. The Aldi one performed better so I returned this one. Nothing against it at all! I liked the pattern, and my son liked this one better for appearance, but it came down to function for me.

Cute for little girl lunch
It's a fun girly item I bought as a gift for a little girl in kindergarden. I think she liked it.

Works to expectation, but cosmeticly not the best
Keeps things cold / hot all day.I have sent it with milk for my daughter yo have cereal as requested for 1st lunch 4 hours later the milk was still cold, she says it felt like it was right from the fridge.Weve sent mr noodles, zoodles ect heat them to alittle above childs eatting temperature and by second lunch 6/7 hours later she said they were still alittle warmer than she liked. So needles to say it works wonderful. Does exactly as it should. And it is the perfect size for lunch and to fit in the lunch pails. They wash up fairly easy as well.**The only problem I have found is whatever enamel they used for the colour and print comes off fairly easy :( I washed them with a sponge and the enamel began to come off around the edges... (second wash, first use)
