Easy to swallow. Doesn’t taste bad but does have a strong odor. I like the fact that it is supposed to replace 5 servings of vegetable per serving (4 pills)

I'm juice-fasting (Reboot with Joe) and I read several places that including spirulina and chlorella is beneficial because of the additional complete protein it provides. I also read that the powdered stuff is nasty so I figured I'd give these a try. While they are easy to take, 4 tablets only provides 1g of protein--not much.But the other benefits (phytonutrients, amino acds, chlorophyll, beta-carotene, potassium, phosphorous, biotin, magnesium and B-complex vitamins) are what made me decide to give it a try. Hey--juice fasting or any other severe program is no fun, but every little bit helps. The way I look at it is if you're going to be miserable for 10-20-30, even 60 days, you might as well make the most of it.
