This was perfect for what I needed! I was able to assemble it, carry it upstairs, and move it around myself. Really easy to do and light.

What I like:• Very easy to assemble. This was my first time assembling anything (and I only punctured the desk once B) )• It looks attractive and fits in well with my room• I like treating its little compartments like tables for things like my drinks. Much more convenient and versatile than traditional drawers• The drawing part of the desk (the part that lifts) works like a charm and I keep it at the tallest setting pretty much permanently for my drawing tablet.What I dislike:• It's fairly light, so it sometimes shifts around. I'm half tempted to anchor it into the wall, but I don't want to. So... Not going to.• You have to drill in the screws yourself for the drafting table's stand, which I think is bogus. Literally all the other holes were there. If I didn't have my step dad to help with this part, I would not have drafting desk. I would have a regular desk that's more or less useless to me.• The texture (I got rustic) is basically a sticker over particle board. It's the most fake looking piece of furnishing in my room, but hey... It's cheap. There's a reason it's cheap! If it turns out to be an issue, we can just make the wood part ourselves. The metal frame is very nice and sturdy.• Two holes on one of the boards were just a smidgen off. No matter how I aligned the board, either one hole was off and the board wasn't levelled or two holes were off and the board was levelled. So, I have two screws that jut out underneath a bit at crooked angles.What I would improve:• The hole alignment• The drafting board holes are premade (p.s. it came with plastic clasps - the only plastic part of the entire thing)• one more height setting to make the angle a little higher.

Okay, first the good things about it. The desk was more or less straightforward to assemble despite the instructions being photos and not words. The process took two hours or so just because I somehow managed to assemble it backwards. Twice. I can't fault the actual company for that as I definitely just wasn't paying enough attention to what I was doing. The desk itself is pretty high quality for what I paid, and it's sturdy enough to hold my consoles on it along with my other random stuff I'm too lazy to find a place for, so I guess it does it's job fine. The issue I have with the desk is that in the description it mentions that the desk can be assembled with the drawers on either the left or right side according to what you need, and this is a blatant lie. The parts included in the kit only has the ability to be assembled one way, with the drawers and shelf unit on the left side, which is the opposite of what I need, and now that it's here I really cannot be bothered to disassemble it, send it back, get a refund, and buy a new desk just to wait even longer, so the only way I can really get over this is leaving a mildly negative review. If you buy this desk keep in mind, the desk cannot be assembled reversed.Unless when the page says the desk is reversible, they mean that the desk can be rotated 180 degrees to face the other way. Which... makes no sense. If that's what counts as reversible then literally everything is reversible. Even I'M reversible. I genuinely am concerned if this is the logic being used.

This desk was everything I was looking for for my son's room. It has storage, a cool angled top and the color matches his other furniture. What I wasn't expecting is that the surface is textured. This was not listed in the description and quite simply baffles me as to why this desk has a texture. When my son wants to draw on the angled desk he has to use something underneath to keep the texture from appearing on his drawing. Same thing for doing his homework on the desk - he needs a clipboard or notebook. Just don't understand why a desk would have a textured surface.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm really happy with this purchase, I would encourage you to buy this one. I've bought and returned 3 desks from other sellers but they were cheap made so I kept returning them. This one is very sturdy and easy to build, plus you can actually adjust part of the desk to angle it how you wish. It helps a lot since I use it for painting as well. You can get pretty comfy since it's adjustable. Also, the color on top (the gray) is a perfect shade that isn't too dark. It was well worth the money. I've had it for 5 months now and I've had no problems; it gets used every day. Highly recommend if you are picky like me.

Nice desk but missing parts 6 and 14

It's been a month since I had this desk and I'm really enjoying it. The only problem I have is that I've been hitting my knee on the hinge (got some bloody cuts but no worries!) The desk is really spacious and the colors on the surface is pretty. The were some parts not measured correctly so that was a problem assembling it but it's not a big deal.

I just bought this desk for my art work. I LOVE IT! It was easy to assemble (at least my husband made it look easy). It is very sturdy and worth every penny. I added a small clear plastic drawer set for storage. But there are two open shelves which provide plenty of room for supplies (just that I have a lot of stuff). The tiltable work surface is great, and is a good size, and could easily work for a laptop or tablet. in the photo that is an 8 x 11 clip board plus an 8 x 10 framed picture. I love the stationary desk top to the right of the tiltable surface as a place to put supplies in use.
