Bought this lil guy back in April 2017 and happened to be looking through my past orders and decided to give my two cents on this Jeweler scale. Worked perfectly since I got it out of the box, used at least once a week since purchased and even still has the clear wrap on the scale and LCD (I usually hate these and take them off instantly but haven't on this for some reason).Anyway.. the .00 feature is very nice and for the price you can't beat it in my opinion. I also saw reviews of people receiving bad scales that didn't work or needed calibrated and I haven't had to calibrate mine once and almost every nickel comes out to be 5.00gs (+/- due to coin impurities).

This basic scale performs very well and takes up very little space. The display is nice and bright and comparatively large for the overall size of the entire unit; other similar sized units I've used have lesser quality displays. Most important, it seems to be quite accurate, holding it's calibration as any good quality scale should. I would give it a perfect five stars if the cover were just a bit more sturdy and more easily removed; I have some concern that given time and enough manipulating, problems will be presented with keeping it tightly in place... Still would recommend for the price it's available for here on Amazon.

For the price it's pretty slick looking. Screen lights up, numbers are a good size, and you can read it regardless of what angle you're at (some of those cheap scales you have to be directly above or else you're seeing lines that aren't there). Also seems to be on point every time I've checked.The thing that sucks is the tray is the cover...a hinged cover. You actually have to pop it out and I don't feel too comfortable doing that. I'd hate for a tiny pin to break and have a crappy cover that doesn't stay on the thing.

Very accurate and easy to read. Also easy to calibrate if you have the correct weight.

I feel bad leaving a low rating for this product.I hope that it will garner the attention of those who aren't using it for measuring things that are flat and don't move. I'm guessing it works great for those.It does what it's supposed to do.I learned with this purchase that I want one with a bowl. It's impossible to measure things in bags and get an accurate reading.It goes slowly slowly down, and then so lovely turns off right when you're at the more accurate spot.So frustrating. :)

I found repeated weighings of very light items directly on the platform resulted in weights that were not identical, but it gave uniform results when the same items were weighed in a small container that weighed a couple of ounces.

Packaging was done poorly box with scale badly damaged inside bubble envelope. But didn't seem to affect the product itself. Seems accurate and easy to use and carry.

The scale goes up and down on its on 0.01 on its own.. sometimes starts randomly climbing too, just needs a reset and good to go. Decent for the price. Decently will weigh what you need..

It is working as expected.Jan 2019 edit : the scale is still working as expected but the writing on the buttons have all faded. Good thing i know which is which.

WAAAAOOOAAWWWW is right! good product. it measures things SO EXACT, my oregano orders have gone thru the roof. Only complaint is battery life is meh. So embarrassing when I pulled it out to double measure an order and it wouldnt turn on.,..almost got glocked...almost
