agressive and easy paring, I have them around my neck clipped ...
Fitting set up a little confusing at first, works very well, quick, agressive and easy paring, I have them around my neck clipped to my collar all day for work and play. Hardly notice they are there when in standby mode, sound quality comparable to $50 wired buds. These units are so useful I own two pair, they charge in about an hour and last all day for hands free phone, and navigation. Jamming music will last half day, comes with extra buds.

Unreliable like other Jaybirds that I've owned
Preliminarily, these refurbished headphones were advertised as Jaybird X-2s, but when they arrived, they were actually X-3s. No complaints, though, as initially, the headphones were comfortable, had excellent sound quality, and a charge that lasted for a good eight hours. Unfortunately, like the two other pairs of Jaybirds I have owned, one day they were working fine, but just decided to stop charging and will no longer power on. These headphones only lasted about five months, and are now outside of their return window. I tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions on the Jaybird website to no avail. In looking at other reviews on-line, this appears to be a recurring theme with frustrated Jaybird owners. While I have been a Jaybird supporter in the past, my next pair of wireless headphones will be from a more reliable brand, with better customer support.

Great headphones. 8/13/18 Update: AWESOME headphones.
I purchased these because I lost my first pair and it's not on the Jaybird website anymore.I really really loved my first pair. This refurbished one is great also but after 4 months am experiencing some issues with it.Every now and then it will turn off for no reason and I'll have to turn it on again. Sometimes there is some crackling in the sound. This doesn't happen very often so I give it a pass especially considering I use them very heavily every day. Overall good quality and comfortable.8/13/18 UPDATE: Have had these headphones for approximately a year and 2 months now and it has finally quit on me (kinda). The left ear piece finally gave out. Right side still works just as good as day 1.I was very surprised at the longevity of these headphones because I use these Every. Day. for at least 6-8 hours (my work allows headphones so I have it on constantly and recharge every night). This is not including the 1 to 2 hours I have it on for gym use 3-5 days out of the week and the sweat proof feature really comes in handy. Absolutely recommend because even though my pair has given up after over a year, I have to admit that I really put mine through the grinder with wear and tear.Added notes: I read some of the other reviews on here and wanted to elaborate on my experience.-If you have small ear canals, these might not be the right choice for you. I find these comfortable but I've been using earbuds for sports/exercise for many years and also prefer the fit because these will not fall out even when I tug on the wire.-As for the sound, it is not going to be the best/top quality but i would say it's still up there. I even hear more details from these headphones than I do from the generic speakers in my car.-It's not going to be noise cancelling either but it will muffle a lot of sounds. I prefer to be able to hear ambient noises as I like to run at the park or am asked something at work.-The bluetooth connectivity was always reliable. Did not have any problems with it unpairing. As I said before, it would randomly turn off every now on then but turning it back on it would always resume connection. Might depend on phone or other electronic you have connected to it.-Was really great for phone calls. People heard me a lot clearer talking into these than if they had to hear me talking to them on speaker phone.

I'm even happier with these more than the first pair I bought ...
Lost a pair of x2 jaybirds and didn't want to pay full price for brand new so I bought refurbished. I'm even happier with these more than the first pair I bought that weren't refurbished. Item did not come with instruction manual but I was able to get all the info I needed from jaybird website. Everything else was perfect. They even came with these awesome "comply" memory foam ear buds that I didn't get with my original jaybirds. Glad I went this route.

Good while they last.
Not buying another pair of these. Switched to the $30 taotronics. They last about the same time. Sucks to spend $80+ only for something to break down in 3-6 months.

Great sound quality but ultimately a bad product
I would not recommend purchasing these earphones. The sound quality was great, but I had a lot of trouble keeping them in my ear while running. It came with differing sized wings and earpieces but they always fell out, a friend had the same issue. They had a 90 day warranty but after 4 months they no longer turn on. I looked online and it seems to be a common issue with this product, it was a waste of $100, this is the main reason I would not buy these and why I wrote my first ever product review.

Amazon keeps sending me broken headphones
The jaybird x2 is my favorite bluetooth headphone but obviously it's a few generations behind. I prefer this gen because it uses micro USB instead of a proprietary charging clip. When they work these things are great, sound good and fit well enough to run with. However amazon keeps sending me pairs that are DOA. I open a package and plug them in immediately and they either don't charge, refuse to pair to any bluetooth device, or randomly turn off. I'm so frustrated. I just want a pair of these someone can take 30 seconds to verify they work. Its astounding how they can keep sending me broken headphones, especially when so little effort can show they don't work before you waste my time and money sending me literal trash.DONT BUY THESE HEREEdit: finally got a pair that worked, they died in 3 weeks. Amazon selling these products is horrible business.
