Such beautiful color and size! Good to know the color of this Le Creuset is Marseille with gradation of blues.

Top quality pitcher.
It's beautiful. It's hefty. It keeps ice water for the table very cold, and do double duty holding wooden spoons on the center island as well. It was a splurge, but the things you have to use everyday should be beautiful as well as functional, and nice enough to pass on to someone else someday. Who needs another cheap item for the landfill.

It Leaks!
After less than a year - and no visible cracks; no use in heat or cold; nothing other than using it as a water pitcher - it leaks. It LEAKS! Weird. I'll contact Creuset for a replacement and follow up. Update, nearly three weeks later: STILL no response from Le Creuset online, and they don't answer their phone. I wrote by snail mail to the service center. Nothing. Sheesh.
