I've use thor hamers for years now, I don't see myself working with other tools for laying kerbs and paying. Best ones in the market.

I saw another contractor using this exact tool, he let me borrow his for an hour and made going back to my old ox rubber version depressing, this hammer gives instant direct impact compared to a more rubber softer head. Ideal for setting out your edge block paving on a semi dry mix, kl kerbs and larger paving. The heads are interchangeable for when they wear out and there’s a few weight’s depending on how strong you are. I’ve also got the 3lb version which is also superb. Get one and you’ll thank me later.

Very good for kerbing and paving. Heavy enough to persuade. Soft enough not to do damage.

Very good tool, however the wood handle is very poorly finished, mine has varnish runs/drip that covers 30mm x 200mm of the wood. It needs to be rubbed down to make the handle comfortable. I do not expect the handle to last very long as it is made of soft Pine wood.
