Exceptional Bed Pad
They work well. I especially like that they are a larger size, waterproof, soft, and absorbent. Bonus: Sides tuck underneath mattress so they stay in place.

So far so good
Bought to help with overnight potty training. I originally bought one of the 34x36 for a twin bed and they were sold out when I went to buy another so I tried this size and I'm glad I did. The 34x36 fits a twin bed top perfectly with no coverage at all (only the wings to tuck in) on the sides. This size (34x52) covers the edges of the bed with the absorbant material too without being too big and bulky. I think either size works for a twin and the extra coverage with this size is nice. I wash on gentle, cool (no fabric softener) and hang to dry. Having an additional pad while one is in the wash is key as it takes a day to fully dry. I can't speak for an adult but for a child it absorbs great without any leaking through the waterproof bottom. We tuck it very well on top of the fitted sheet (easy to change if an accident happens) and it has stayed put for our tossing and turning toddler. Material is soft and comfortable. The price is also great as some of the brands marketed for children were well over twice the price. The price here allowed us to easily buy more than one and they work. Would recommend.

Worth It!
Small hole between skirt and pad after a couple washes... and I'm still going to give five stars! It's been like searching for the holy grail to find a sheet protector that ACTUALLY doesn't leave the mattress either soaked or damp after an accident. I have four little ones and a regular rotation of accidents. Every mattress protector tried failed me after a few washes (and yes, I washed according to directions). Why not use pull ups? Oh I have from store bought to cloth. And still they overload and leak. I felt it was some sort of insanity to be buying pull ups AND mattress protectors AND doing daily laundry AND still spending so much time scrubbing/drying mattresses (though one was soaked so bad we had to throw it away). Finally it dawned on me that nursing homes and medical facilities MUST deal with incontinence on a regular basis with bladders at least as large or larger and thus I altered my search from fitted mattress protectors to washable absorbent pads after a bit of judicious Googling. I ordered the large (36x60) and put lengthwise on a twin size bed with skirt long enough to tuck under on each end. There was about a gap in coverage of about an inch on either side of the matress. I put the old fitted protector on top for additional security to keep it in place. We tested first with our 3 yo because: A) she moves a lot. B) she has a HUUUUGE bladder and can hold forever during the day. C) she started refusing pull ups. Worked beautifully. First pee and I took everything off to find a perfectly DRY mattress! Laundered and tossed in dryer on low heat. Yes, I'd love to air dry every time but that's not practical given how humid it is where I live. It's been 2 months and MANY washes and low dry cycles later it has shrunk a little bit (from 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch clearance on the sides of the twin mattress) yet is still soaking up pee wonderfully and the mattress has stayed dry Every Single Time. Even without a pull up. I'm ordering more for the other kids and ditching the never ending pull up racket that still leaves everything soaked in pee. I'm going to end up doing laundry anyway. I did the math and these pads will save me about $480 annually ($40 a month) in night time pull ups alone. So $30 per large pad really isn't that bad. Plus the 3 yo is actually starting to have more dry nights since ditching pull ups. I only waited the two months to ensure the pad kept soaking up pee and to see how it held up in the wash. I can hand stitch the small hole - not a big deal compared to the time saved from trying to clean and dry mattresses on a daily basis. And if you are a pee weary parent reading this I absolutely recommend buying this pad. Also you might discover some fascinatingly useful information if you look into Anti-Diueretic Hormone (ADH) and evening honey consumption in relation to bed-wetting - we are having phenomenal success with our 7 yo who is finally having dry nights after wetting the bed with massive amounts of pee every night of his life (even with restricting liquids and getting up to pee at night - and no he doesn't have diabetes). You're welcome ;-)

Amazing!
Love this product. My mom has urinary incontinence and Parkinson’s disease. I use this every day to protect our mattress and bedding from any leaks. While it’s not perfect, it does the job we need it to.

LIFE SAVER FOR ALZHEIMER PATIENT
My dad is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and frequently pee's through his diapers at night. Prior to this pad, we were using the hospital type pads and the entire bed would have to be changed each morning. Him being a man, the hospital pads are just too small. The first night with this on the bed, he pee'd through his diaper as usual but this pad caught everything and did not leak! His skin and the mattress stayed dry! I bought the large size and it covers 2/3rds of a Queen sized bed. I love that the sides only tuck in so it's fast and easy to change. It is not AS soft as the hospital pads but is still fairly soft and hasn't caused any issues with his skin. It is still as effective after multiple washings. Definitely purchasing a couple more and would recommend this for anyone that needs the extra protection.

I'm pretty impressed, so far!
Since this is fairly anonymous i will be totally honest. I bought this because well my husband works hard and enjoys his beers after a long work day. Once in a blue moon, an accident happens. Very rare, but i decided to buy this (we also have young children who, also occasionally sleep with us) Any how, I did a bit of research and finally gambled on this one, since it had extra fabric that tucked in the sides. While I can't speak to how much liquid it holds yet since it's a rare occurrence, I can say it doesn't shift too much and if you have a mattress protecting sheet plus the regular type of sheet, none of us notice this much at all and I don't have to fix it much, maybe once a week, when i wash every thing anyway (I wash every ones blankets and sheets in our home, every week or so, regardless, yes I'm kind of a neat freak lol) I'm really pleased so far and if it ends up being soiled with liquid I will definitely come back and update my review so that I can give a proper opinion on that, but as of now, I think it's good quality. If my opinion changes I will definitely update this. I'm not afraid to let my opinion be known! But yeah so far so good .
