Not true to center
Hooked up to mini lathe but slightly off center, has a wobble to my pen blanks when turning

How is this self centering????
If i have to move each of the 4 claws independently this isn’t self centering at all! Unless I am missing something obvious. Also the adjustment screws are not exactly easy to move precisely.

Not worth it.
It works but it is cheap and slips with little effort. I would look at another product going forward. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is that for 100 ebay?

The 4-jaw model is not self-centering
Besides the 4-jaw model not being self-centering, the jaws are pretty small and I find it hard to believe it would hold a piece of stock strong enough to work on.

It is not self-centering and the adjustments are so sticky that you can't even get it to bite onto your stock. So it was unusable to me.
