Wonderful lighting kit. It really makes the bonsai stand out. It does take patience to install but it's worth it.

The lights really add a very different feel to the original. The lighting kit is super simple to apply to the model. The instructions are easily found on their website using the QR code provided with the packaging. Other reviews mention having a pair of tweezers on hand, they are correct. The tweezers make the difference in how easily it is to manipulate the wires. All in all, this was a fun lighting kit to apply and the lights make the whole model look so elegant.

Bought this for my fiance because he loves Legos and he's been nagging me for this on a long time. When I finally got this for him as a gift, he was so happy assembling it and with the lights that I bought along with it, the little bonsai tree came to life on our little coffee table. It's very nice decor in our living room. Can be battery operated or connected to electricity via USB cable.

Fun product once you get it together. They include a picture set of instructions but expect you to use a QR code for more detailed instructions. Once you get to the site, it is expected for you to register your name, etc. to be able to advance to the real instruction page. I did not want to register, sooo I did not get the detailed instructions. Fortunately, I have been building models long enough to figure it out. What happened to the days that good instructions came with the product?

Got this for my 17 year old daughter and she did a great job and found it easy to install.

You’ll need tweezers to make the tiny cables connect and make sure all the cable connectors are plugged in the same way cause there are two different sides. A solid white side and a side that has visible metal I believe I plugged them in with the visible metal face down. Test it out before everything is attached and see which way works.

This took some time to assemble and it works for about 1 second before the light switches off. Super frustrating.

I wanted this as a night light, and I would turn it on my lego tree each night. With every new battery pack I tried, the tree lights would die in two to three days. It sucks, because putting it together was fun even if it got frustrating at some points (I think that's every Lego build though), and I was very excited to use it for a night light. It's beautiful, but cannot be used for more than 9 hours a day or else it will die on you in three days max. I feel like this item is more for show than as a light, which sucks because I was very excited to have this as a night light with my tree.
