I have an older, not very energetic cat that sometimes just really needs a playpen to keep her contained while home projects are happening, or to have outdoor sniffs on nice days, or to travel with us if we have to evacuate during wildfire season.My requirements: big enough for me to sit in it with her if necessary (see: emergency evac), a top so random stuff doesn't fall in (cutting styrofoam produces little nuggets that gets everywhere!), lightweight and very portable (unlike the two story sturdy metal kitty kennel we already have). This fit the bill!I popped it open, put her blanket and some treats inside, and voila! She voluntarily spent most of an afternoon napping inside it.Items of note:* The topper just rests on top - it isn't secured with anything.* The entry flap has three small squares of velcro for closure and a tie at the top to keep it open when rolled up (I'll be adding a zipper or something, but for kid safety purposes this is a good choice).* It's made of lightweight umbrella-type polyester fabric and mesh. Weighs practically nothing.* Folds flat, and can be easily twisted to fold into the included pouch (about 11" wide)Just what we needed - and it has hearts & stars! LOL

I should have looked more closely at the specifications. The roof is not attached and the door does not fully close. I was hoping to use this as an enclosed outdoor play area for my pet rats but they can easy escape. For kids, I'm guessing it would be a bit small and it seems like balls would come straight out the door.

This tent is smaller than I expected. It folds like a mesh laundry basket, which makes it feel cheap but is also kind of brilliant. It’s crazy easy to fold up and store, which was important to me. One child in a child sleeping bag lying flat won’t fit in the tent. And I’m trying to fit two. But it isn’t for real outside use or anything, so it’s not that big of a deal. My kids stick their heads or feet out of the door flap or curl up. They love it, and that’s the most important thing.

Bought for a rabbit. He loves it. Cats seem to enjoy it too. 😂

Easy set up. It literally popped out setup. Putting away was easier than we thought, just twist into circles to put back in the bag.

My kid loves this plays with it everyday she’s 14 months we’ve had it for almost a month now.

Bought this for my 2 Maltese dogs and bought balls but the balls where to easy and my dogs crushed it lol .. I love this tent and so will you for your kids pets so cute

My only quibble, I think others mentioned as well, is that there is no way to attach the top. Not a big deal however.
