Nice stabilizer for embroidery projects
I have always bought this at Joann’s, but since they closed I was running low. I bought two of the 12 inch x 11 yard rolls from Amazon and it came in on the exact day I needed more. I didn’t have to double it up even though my design was fairly dense. I must admit I did a practice stitch out to make sure I could only use one layer. Just like it says, it tore away cleanly from the stitch out. This was a bit less expensive than the corresponding Bernina stabilizer, and I felt like I didn’t need a stronger stabilizer that would be thicker. Most important, the design did not “scrunch up” during the stitch out. It came out smoothly like you would want.

Best I have used
Love this stuff. I use it on towels on the top and the bottom and it tears away nicely and leaves the stabilizer under the embroidery where it is needed. I use it mainly for monograming towels.

BE CAREFUL-This is extremely thin, lightweight stabilizer
I embroider very thin flour sack towels and even using three layers of this stabilizer, the edges were pulling away from each stitch. When I use the regular midweight stabilizer from Joann's, it looks fine. If this doesn't stabilize such thin material...WHAT does it stabilize? I'm actually very curious to know. It's my fault, I didn't read the description closely...but it says to use layers and then peel off each layer to not pull at stitches. But if three layers doesn't work...then with what fabric am I supposed to use this product? Four stars only because I'm new to this craft and maybe I just don't know what I'm doing!!!

Love sulky stabilizers! Crisp and easy to tear away. Never sheds "lint" that can build up in your sewing machine bobbin area. Also doesn't leave paper on the back of your embroidery. If I want a bit of a heavier stabilizing effect, I simply double. or triple it up. Even with multiple layers, it still tears away. In my experience, Sulky stabilizers are worth the money as they always worked as you would expect them to.

Súper buen estabilizador para bordado de telas finas en máquina bordadora. Yo use una hoja en el aro y otra abajo. Totalmente confiable

This product was supportive enough for machine applique yet pulled away easily without distrubing the stiches. Other products have tugged loose the beginning or ending stitches but this stabilizer worked perfectly.

The sulky tear away works great much better then the generic stuff I bought when I first got my machine. It arrived quickly and in good condition. I only wish the same seller would have carried the other stabilizers I made in the same order so that they could have all arrived that quickly.
