Grandsons listened to it over and over and over again...
Okay this was a real hit. At first, when I heard it, I was surprised as the narrator had simple American accent. Shrek did not sound like Shrek, and the Donkey's voice was nothing like Eddie Murphy. That took a little getting used to. Eddie Murphy's chatterbox donkey is really kind of priceless.... But in the end, it did not matter at all, The story told by this Tonie character lasts a long time. Over an hour? Maybe more. And it goes through the entire Shrek story. My 3-year old and 6-year old grandsons ***loved*** it. And they had never seen Shrek! No yet, anyway. It was huge, huge hit. And yes, we eventually sat down and all watched Shrek together. Great purchase. Wish they would add Puss N Boots tonie character.

Only wish they used original voices
As a tonie, this is definitely one of the better ones. Great length, and great story. Predictable to the first movie. Fun! Simple as that. My only problem is if wish they used the original voices from the movie.

It's just one long story about the 1st movie. Which is expected but the narrator is not good. They could have done much better with it.
