I was already using one of the other Language Lessons books (L. L. for the Elementary Child - 2) in this same series, but knew my son needed more emphasis on grammar usage. The other one seemed more to skim over, not giving enough focus on any given idea. This book has a few pages on each idea. I would recommend this book for any child needing a more focused approach or as an add-on to hone in on specific areas of grammar. The outline in the very beginning of the book makes it so very easy to find the specific skill you're looking for.
