Ordered this for my Kohler San Raphael (2002). I was happy to finally find a replacement flapper specifically for my toilet model. I’ve been using universal flappers the last few years and they always eventually end up being too large and wobbly for my toilet, which leads to the constant running water issue. My exact model number was listed on the product listing and even on the packaging for this flapper, however it ended up being too small. I honestly thought I was losing my mind and kept trying different ways to make it work… but it’s simply too short. When installed it sits too snug and stays partially open. I tried repositioning it on the back multiple times and nothing fixed it. I can’t leave a bad review for this because the product seems very good quality and it was easy to install. It just didn’t fit. I did however return it and eventually found the correct part for my toilet, which was just a touch longer, and now everything works perfectly. Just a heads up to double check measurements, because even toilets from the same model line may require different flapper lengths depending on the year or configuration. Bottom line: confirm compatibility by dimensions, not just model numbers, to save yourself the frustration.

This flapper was easy to install and fit my toilet. Unfortunately, the chain was too short, so I had to use the chain from the old flapper to make this new one work with my toilet.

I have a one piece toilet and this worked perfectly.

WOW. Ordered the Kohler Flapper for my Revival 1 piece toilet. The old Kohler flapper was about 10 years old and was not leaking but I wanted to replace it. I shut off the intake valve and took off the old flapper. I measured the stainless steel chain and once that was done I installed the new Kohler flapper., Then I turned on the intake water valve. The entire installation took less than 5 minutes. Easy peasy. I always install original Kohler parts for my toilet. No adjusting, no trouble installing and always the right fit. Pay a few dollars more but never have a problem.

Our water tends to be a bit hard so these rubber parts tend to breakdown every few years. I had some trouble i the past using the cheaper/generic one size fits all replacement stopper from the local big box store so now I just order these brand name ones for the 2 fancy Kholer toilets on our home as they work better than the generic and they are a bit cheaper than buying locally but more importantly show up at my house. I still use the generic for other toilets though.

I had replaced both toilets with cheap, flimsy flappers figuring "it's just a flap of rubber, what could go wrong?" Well, pretty quickly I found out... both toilets randomly ran-on with an irritating trickle of water. As time went on, it happened more frequently until I figured I was losing significant amounts (A friend had a similar problem and the water company actually left him a note about the increase in his usage and guessed correctly that his toilets were running on like this, so it can add up, over time) Anyway, it's been close to a year and both toilets are now functioning perfectly.
