Chocolate Covered Roasted Espresso Coffee Beans (2 Pound, Dark Chocolate)

The absolute worst thing I could say about these is that the size is inconsistent. They taste great! The beans are well roasted; the chocolate is smooth, creamy and full of flavor. A small handful is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up snack. About a dozen is the same caffeine as a cup of coffee, so unless you pig out, you're not going to overload. Treat yourself to these, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic and delicious! The chocolate could be a little better quality but they’re still very good! The beans are roasted and crunchy, the dark chocolate compliments the espresso bean perfectly.

A matter of taste, so I gave it a higher mark than my true opinion. I prefer coffee beans covered in dark chocolate. These are layers of sugary chocolate and strong liquor that overwhelm the bean. Not to my taste. Still sitting on counter wondering who I might offer them to.

If I have nothing good to say, is it best to stay silent? (No) From the first piece I tasted, my assessment was “Weak chocolate flavor, not at all like a true “dark chocolate”. Then, a bland /almost tasteless “espresso bean” in the center. Conclusion: I expected a rich flavor from both the chocolate & the espresso beans. However, what I found was the opposite. Perhaps at a cocktail party, guests may not take notice of the lack of “bitter dark tones” usually found in premium quality “dark chocolate”, or the full bodied, roasted flavors of high quality, dark roasted coffee beans… I found the combination of flavors to be thourally lacking. I’m glad I chose to try them first, before purchasing some for gifts.

They were fresh upon arrival and have tasty chocolate but there is way more chocolate than bean. They are nice and crunchy but not as strong of a coffee flavor as I was hoping.

Dark chocoholic here. Great price in bulk. Fresh. I'm not supposed to have caffeine but I love the taste of coffee & dark chocolate so I only have a couple at a time and they've lasted forever. Will order again.
