HP LaserJet M209dwe Wireless Black & White Printer with 6 Months Instant Toner Included

It was not explained before I purchased this printer that it is a contract printer, and the prices for number of prints were ridiculous. Also could not find how to get the free 6 months toner. After first use it developed a fault which I could not clear. Printer returned

Satisfaction smashing it against wall was it's only redeeming quality. Can only use while on the internet, signed into account which kept logging me out. Paper count before running out was way off. Expensive refills. Had to change router settings to connect to wifi.

I was a little wary due to some reviewers saying it was very difficult to set up the app and get it working, but to my experience this was a breeze to set up and get running. In fairness I already had a HP account for my inkjet with an Instant Ink account so it was just a case of connecting it to my computer via WiFi and adding it to my HP Account. Those without an account will have to register and set up a payment method for Instant Ink which I highly recommend as Toner and Inks can be so expensive. I ran a print from the HP Smart app via my phone totally wireless and it was quick and very well printed. It's a great inexpensive laser printer that works straight out of the box.

I got it today. The installation was simple (I don't know they want to add installation cost, it's not necessary). The printing quality is very good. It's double-sided, which is brilliant. The only problem is that you need internet. You cannot connect it manually to your computer or via Bluetooth. Otherwise, it's a very good machine.

This printer was incredibly easy to set up and prints incredibly fast. The HP app was easy to navigate and the instructions only consist of a few steps which are easily followed. Whilst there were some connection issues on my end, as my WiFi is slow at times, this was easily resolved as the printer comes with it's own I.P address that be connected to directly; which allowed me to send the print order over very quickly and with no issue. The only issue I had was that the printer came with two stickers affixed to the front advertising various hp services, as these somewhat compromised the aesthetics of a pleasantly design printer I removed them. However this required a good amount of time, as well as an alcohol spray to remove the residual adhesive.

I bought an Amazon refurbished unit which was like new, so very cheap The printer is small, well built and best of all responds to printing requests from my iPhone even though it hasn’t been used for days without needing to turn it back on. Comes with a printer ink deal which looks sensible. I’ve always liked HP printers well made and good clear user guides. Recommended!

A printer first and foremost should print. I have had my new printer for a couple of weeks with the instant ink service enabled and every time I go to print something the printer has lost connection with the wifi. Now it has stopped because it wants me to rethink my monthly subscription despite the fact that i have only used 125 pages of the 1500 pages available on my free six month trial. This is an awful wasteful system. Printers by their very nature can cycle between heavy and light usage it seems incredibly invasive to have the app stop your printer from working because it wants to sign you up to a higher subscription. My subscription is set low because on average, month to month I am a low user. But this system means that if I have one heavy month the printer experience is going to be hampered by these alerts despite me still being within my page limits. And how does it alert you... by printing a page. Ridiculous! Update - Printer just outright refusing to print now. Tells me to login into my account i have done that, have even set my subscription to the most expensive option matching the six month free trial subscription and still it won't print. But if I press the 'i' button it prints a page telling me the printer won't print! So it can actually print it just won't because the software and the system are deeply flawed. I feel so completely cheated to have bought and paid for a device that is being actively restricted by the company providing it. Am returning the printer to the sellers, and now have to also arrange collection seperately of the ink cartridges because of the flawed subscription service.

No complains. Bought as an upgrade to replace my old HP laser printer as wanted a wifi model. Very quiet in use. Setup was a breeze. Would definitely recommend HP printers both Laser and Ink Jet for cost and reliability. And yes my old printer is still in use but at another address. And no I have no connection to HP.

In questo caso la stampante deve essere sempre collegata alla rete internet e quando il toner sta per esaurirsi viene automaticamente spedito uno nuovo a domicilio. Non è obbligatorio abbonarsi e soprattutto la stampante non va in blocco se non si sottoscrive nessun piano di abbonamento. CONTRO ❌ ASSENZA DI SCANNER: risolvibile attraverso la scannerizzazione inclusa nell’app HP Smart che utilizza la fotocamera dello smartphone; ❌ ASSENZA DISPLAY: non è presente un display fisico sulla stampante ma con l’app HP Smart il display è lo smartphone. Dalle impostazioni dell’app si puó risalire a tutte le informazioni fondamentali (livello toner, connessione della stampante alla rete, pagine stampate dalla prima installazione, pagine rimanenti ecc.); CONCLUSIONI Consiglio questa stampante sia a chi stampa con un’elevata frequenza documenti di testo (tenendo comunque conto che ha un vassoio di alimentazione da 150 fogli) sia a chi stampa occasionalmente. In quest’ultimo caso le stampanti laser sono ideali perché a differenza delle stampanti a getto di inchiostro, non presentano il problema di essiccamento delle testine di stampa se non utilizzate per lunghi periodi. Sconsiglio questo modello a chi ha necessità di scannerizzare/fotocopiare continuamente quantità elevate di fogli e la sconsiglio inoltre, così come una qualsiasi stampante laser, a chi necessita di stampe fotografiche o documenti con molte immagini, in questo caso bianche e nere.

Venía de una impresora clásica y el cambio a una láser ha sido brutal. He pasado de que cada copia tardase unos 5-10 segundos a que en 1-2 estén listas y la calidad es mejor. Vamos, como en una copisteria. Lo único que me preocupaba era que no tenía escaner, pues aunque no mucho ocasionalmente me hace falta. Pero he probado el que viene en la app y wow, pongo foto porque en serio que cumple perfectamente (evidentemente esto dependerá mucho de la cámara de vuestro movil). El servicio HP Instant Ink me tiene encantada. Vienen 6 meses gratis con la impresora y otros 3 poniendo el código " 72jncw ", y son hasta 1500 hojas al mes! Yo he escogido un plan menor porque suelo imprimir de 100-300 al mes, pero se puede cambiar en cualquier momento así que genial. Además envían la tinta automáticamente, en este caso sola la negra porque no imprime a color, en cuanto la impresora avisa de que tiene un nivel bajo. Tarda una semana en desde que avisan del envío, viene con correos. Aún así llegó con tiempo suficiente pues lo envían antes de que se termine. En el mismo paquete ya te dirigen a una web para tramitar la devolución del cartucho anterior, lo cual está genial, son cartuchos gigantes y reciclar es importante. El cambio super sencillo, yo busqué un video antes de tocar nada pero la verdad es que es bastante intuitivo. Vamos, muy contenta tanto con la impresora como con el servicio HP Instant Ink
